Anyone playing Planetscape? Quite tempted to give it a go, looks interesting.

Anyone thinking of buying Hitman Absolute. Looks good, but need some actual reviews before I buy games

I love both, but yeah Hitman is much more linear and the open worlds aren't as enjoyable because whilst you are trying to kill your targets, everyone who is in the sandbox is looking for you to kill you.

If you want to play the best Hitman game, Blood Money is your man. There's an especially brilliant mission where you have to kill someone rehearsing for an opera. How you go about that is up to you; there are many ways to do it! I won't say any more otherwise I'll spoil it. Absolution by the sounds of it has very little of that choice in it, which is a real shame because we've waited ages for a new Hitman game.

Talking about that Opera mission makes me want to play Blood Money again. :D People aren't actively looking for you in that game - only if you draw suspicion to yourself will they hunt you. Read PC Gamer's review of Absolution.

Absolution gives you the same sorta variety in killing your victims but it is just intwined with heaps of little bs missions and ones where you are trying to escape places. And as for disguises, there is plenty but people in the same disguises (cops, gardeners etc) call you out on it if you stand too close to them which is really frustrating having played so much Blood Money myself. I've got Blood it on PC and PS2 haha. Possibly one of my most favourite games ever. I still play it to this day and have replayed each mission countless times. Favourite mission would have to be A House of Cards, the casino one.

Shame they didn't release a DLC mission pack for Blood Money - they still could do that at some point.

What was your favourite way to kill the Opera guy? Stick it in spoiler tags if you like.

Mine was:
Subduing his rehearsal partner, stealing his uniform and playing the scene myself - only when the gunshot effect went off, I pulled the trigger on a real gun. :D If timed properly, no one notices and you just saunter off outta there. ;) Being a performer myself, that appealed to me the most.

Hmm, I have never done that. I usually sniped him or dropped the lighting on him at the same time though.

By the way, I have two copies of Payday: The Heist if anyone wants one. I bought the 4 pack for like $10, gave one away but my other mates already have it. So got 2 spare, tough game best played co-op.

I swapped the pistol with a loaded one in the dressing room. May as well keep my hands clean and let them do the dirty work. :spy

Yep, that's the way 'the boss' wants you to do it; they provide you with a pickup right at the start of the mission. There are probably loads of ways to do it - that's what makes Blood Money a game you'll keep coming back to. :)

Funny: Hitman Absolution got much better reviews from IGN and Gamespot than it did from PC Gamer. I'm off to Steam to see if there's a demo. :)

Nope. There's a demo for Blood Money, but not for the new game. When are companies going to realise that not having a demo can lose them sales? I was prepared to give the game a chance, but no demo means no buy, at least not until it's on sale. I trust PC Gamer and their verdicts; they're usually not far off the mark in my opinion.

Hi guys, I don't want to create another topic about games so I'm trying to refresh this one (don't be mad)..
The thing is that I'm considering buying a Fallout76 because as I understand I found it at a very cheap price, like 13 Eur (https://www.eneba.com/other-fallout-76-official-website-key-global). Is it a full game? Because I think that it is a new game and the price should be a lot of bigger for a full game. I really enjoyed fallout4, but from the beginning this fallout76 idea seemed suspicious for me. But if the full game cost only 13 Eur, I think I will try it. Or maybe it is so bad that prices dropped from the beginning?

You're right, the price has dropped because it's roundly considered to be a terrible game. Watch some reviews on YouTube before even spending that much money.

Thank you for resurrecting this thread, I had no idea it existed.
