If PS3 allows that then I will surely buy one. The price have dropped by 12000 bucks here.

What's the price in rupees now?

Am I the only one here who enjoys playing games on both?
Probably not. You shouldn't really be able to tell the difference between a game on a console and a game on a PC. Afterall its the same game just ported to different platforms. But if I could only afford to buy either a PC or a console, my money would go on a PC 100% of the time.

With so many more discussions about PC vs Consoles going around in many threads like GTA IV and FIFA 09, I thought this was a good time to bump this thread.

Its simple. Get your points for either one forward if you feel so. We can have a nice healthy debate here. :)

Consoles are for the most part more reliable. I spent a fair bit of money on my computer, getting a good processor and graphics card, and I still struggle playing a lot of games. Consoles on the other hand, particularly the PS3 since 360s have that ring of death thing, always work the same way, don't need upgrading to play any games and its performance doesn't decrease when you clog it up with games.

I like the PC for many things, but now with my PS3 in my bedroom it's definitely my gaming device of choice.

That is because the kind of games that are produced on them remain the same throughout their 5 year span. Whereas PC games are constantly improved upon.

Also consoles hardware is FAR outdated. The PS3 has a 7800GTX class GPU and a 360 has an ATI X1900 one. Its all about optimisation, that's all.
