Can I just add this thread is not only for the West Indies, Sri Lanka and New Zealand warmup triseries, but any team can organise friendlies and post scorecards for warmup games

Barrow Delighted with Captaincy

Barrow today spoke of the delight he has at the moment after being name captain of West Indies.

"I moved here to get opportunities, and i have done! Ive had a few discussions, most of them heated, with the manager about trying to bring in another WicketKeeper so i could maybe have a bowl, but now im doing great behind the timber and also my batting seems to be great. Im averaging somthing near 100 and if it stays like this i think ill ask to stay the gloveman."

"Embi has moved up Sid, and with good reason, he is rock solid. This is somthing i need in my game. If im feeling a bit of anger if ive took a bit of flack from the slips, as usually happens, instead of giving away my wicket, i know i can take a quick single and calm down at the other end while watching Sid play a good knock."

"The thing which amazed me is that Miles didnt even speak to me, i just rolled up this morning expecting to go out under Chris (Gayle) but obviously the manager has seen somthing in me he likes."

Barrow obviously seems happy about the decision, will it hinder his proformance? Find out later.

I tried it once and it took a lot out of me. That said captaining the team was actually pretty easy.
Nah, I'll just bug him to change his selection criteria.
