Last year I think(iirc) they started a thread, locked it and then had a link to the poll/secret ballot within the thread.

Does secret ballot mean we can't see who's in the lead or something? Or is it simply a "private bid" where we can't see who voted for who..

Go to the nominations thread, and click "Search this Thread" on the top thread tools menu bar. Type in your username and search that to check how many times it has been mentioned in that particular thread.
