Any idea if the player stats are more detailed like in ea cricket 07, rather than bars there is like a number out of 100 and player weakness like short ball or yorkers

If I remember correctly from Ashes 09 it was nothing special and I believe I read somewhere that they have not worked on the stats side of things much at all. The EA series did that well.

Yeah, what I love about Cricket 04, apart from the very decent gameplay was that on tours players got injured and had to spend time off! The whole stats thing was done excellently. It's hard to understand why it can't be included as it must be one of the easier things to implement.

I've thought that for every game since C2002. The general trend that it gets worse with each revision!

But, Cricket 2004 fully modded with PC patches was SO enjoyable. Never has a game been that good, or patched so well.

Thats a harsh generalization. There is no doubt that IC10 is an improvement from AC09 and AC09 itself was not that bad a game. Probably the most advanced cricket game there is

Totally agree. It is so sad that a game of more than 6 or 7 years old leads the way in terms of gameplay. 04's gameplay with updated graphics, 360 batting bla bla bla = heaven!
