PlanetCricket Mafia II - Day 4 (Game Abandoned)

My suspicions have grown from pressure lynch to see how he responded through to actual potential lead with the lack of response and the very flimsy intial lynch.

I want to know why he has put down a 3rd lynch with 5 needed for the hammer and there likely being 3 mafia in the game, and then disappearing so he couldn't remove his lynch in case of a quickfire hammer from the mafia? I know he's new to the game, but that's dangerous play as town, or basic mafia tactics hoping to lynch off someone they would know as town.

Obviously I want to hear his thoughts about this.

There are now 3 on him so same situation applies although no mafia is going to commit suicide by quick-hammering on day 1 before someone defends.

Hey, everybody! Hold on a second! If at all I were mafia, wouldn't that been ridiculously stupid for me to do? That wasn't inexperience, but something weird. My actual intention was to put yashdude on FOS, and do a no lynch. Sorry. Not sure why that post, but I guess I wanted to ask PD why did he lynch yash directly and not give him his FOS? I seem to be fighting a lost case? *sigh*

There are no lost causes unless you refuse to fight them. People give up on avoiding being lynched way too easily sometimes. Convince us you're town; if we still don't believe you character claim; if we still don't believe you role claim etc.

The issue wasn't the lynch not the FOS, it was what you posted as your "reason".

Quite an achievement to get 'No lynch, FoS' and 'Lynch' mixed up.... I'm not convinced I'm afraid mate, lynch stands.

I'm always prepared for a first day information lynch. I end up feeling that within the 5 of a mislynch at least 2 mafia are present in the voting process. Likewise if we strike oil and hit mafia I generally feel that there's a good bet 3 or 4 of the other voters are almost certainly town.

Not prepared to lynch you off straight away, and it could just be inexperience, but to give up so quickly on the first day to a pressure lynch does hint at someone who knows they are caught.

@Blitzberg: I lynched yash because as an inexperienced player I felt he might give up a tell or two under pressure as mafia. Likewise, I felt it could bring out poor mafia play from someone to follow the lynch and push too hard to get rid of someone that hadn't really given away anything yet. Your reasoning when getting a third lynch in was weak, so instead I felt switching the pressure to you was a better idea considering there is actually something, however minor, to go on.

Its easy to understand else's ploy when you're surrounded all sides.

Unlynch: yashdude

As a matter of fact, I have put up a reply from everyone (except swirlier), and by the looks of which I think I've one scum opened.

I like the name Swirlier. Like a new, more swirly version of Swirler :p
