Hmm. Well this is not ideal. As was said, a character claim would have made far more sense than what has happened. Instead we've essentially had two role claims on the first day, both of which the mafia can more than happily ignore whilst narrowing down their target field.

There's an element of me that says revealed masons this early are basically useless, and lynching off Blitz is still viable as it actually clears Swirler. The other part of me says just go with the no lynch now and see how the night actions pan out. Mighty bold claim from Swirler if they're not masons, as obviously it condemns them both if one is actually mafia... so after debating with myself, I'm gonna probably go with believing for now.

I guess they can keep their characters to themselves for now, as it gives a chance that they can still counterclaim someone down the road.

Not really sure what Blitzberg was thinking by jumping on the Yashdude bandwagon, but is consistent with last game I guess. You'll know you're holding the game up when everyone's coming after you.

If Swirler and Blitz are masons, then we probably don't have a cop or is some kind of variant, so we'll have to tread carefully if anyone claims with a result.

And to clarify, I wasn't suggesting that we lynch Yashdude off because he's new, it was because he hadn't bothered posted anything after confirming his role. He was more involved in past games, so it kinda looks like he's unsure of how to act now that he's drawn mafia.

Yeah, just getting the ball rolling, as it did Not satisfied with his response either, especially now since you and Blitz appear to be masons? That would narrow things down a bit. PD was showing some pro-town play there whilst Colin seems to be chilling back a bit too much.

I have a bad feeling Yashdude will be inactive during the game, so may need to be lynched-off at some stage. Don't know if Colin is just busy with PCPL 4.

I'm not sure why people keep saying Barmy hasn't posted... As he seems to have just alluded to. Although that could be funny. Let's all pretend he's not actually posting, and then question him and lynch him for not contributing

I'd imagine two masons would potentially be two admins... Still, I think the fact they've essentially claimed masons means they can keep the actual character claims quiet until tomorrow and see if anyone else actually claims their characters?

The masons gambit would be a good one, but I can't see it happening this early. If no one else trusts their claim at all, then go for the character claim, but at this point I'm satisfied and would rather keep a possible counter claim open for Day 2 or 3.

I happen to agree with you there Sedition, but he's certainly not been inactive as some players seem to have suggested... and it is just the first day afterall. I've seen Barmy adopt a whole host of different tactics just to make it through the first night

I don't like how Blitzberg was floundering and Swirler claimed it for him. I would like character claims from both.
