Player Editor

does anyone know where the averages are being kept?

Editor Release

Here is the first release of my Player Editor.

It is v0.5 so a little restricted, but you can change most things about a player.

Also included is a Copy/Paste Player function.

Team names etc. cannot be edited at the moment.

Just player names.

NOTE:
Make sure you have VB6 runtimes when you try and use this editor.

There is no readme, it's pretty obvious how to use it.

Please post any bugs, errors, suggestions here.

Cheers.

Tom

just a little thing, how come i can't find Simon Katich in any of the Australian teams?

also it is as if some teams are like repeated.

oh just one little thing.....perhaps we could have a list of all the players and teams so we don't have to always scroll through?

but those are just minor things, thanks a lot

Firstly... I must say thanks very much for this superb piece of kit which sends BLIC into a new dimension.

Secondly... The player names can be edited within the editor but do not show up in the game, the modified stats do however you just have to rename the player within the game...it works great though ;)

Cheers,

Steve S.

I am also very pleased with the Editor, however, I tried making Chris Tremlett out of one of the "Joe Bloggs" people. He did not appear in the game though and underneath his licensed face number is a read-only number saying
"-31074", instead of e.g. 191.

Please help m8, other than that great work!

The Joe Bloggs people cannot be edited to be in the game.

I already tried copying a player over a Joe Bloogs but it doesn't work, even with changing the Player ID.

There are several attributes which I am yet to work out what they mean and are hidden, so, when creating a new player (such as Tremlett) I suggest you find a player with similar bowling style, batting style, etc. and then copy and paste him over the player you want to replace.

As for the names issue, your game profile stores all the names as well and overrides the file which my editor changes. So you'll just have to do it yourself unless you want to delete your game profile...

Sorry!
