I don't have much of a read on any of the guys since I haven't been paying attention so I'll go with what apparently seems to be. I don't mind taking a risk so early in the game, especially since if Ste's town, the_don's comes under the knife.

Puddleduck is the guy i saw around thedon version one, guess he should be lynched if/when i'm proved town.

Although both could be a reasonable shout.

Some holes seem to still stand out in ste's story. He hasn't even toyed with the fact that perhaps we are both trackers, and I don't like that. He could've insisted that that may have been the case, but taking this route of 'it's either you or me' screams Mafia to me, it's a good way of making people think before putting in their lynch. Me lynching him so early was more just pressure to see what he had to say in return and I don't like his reply.

Holding in a secret is also a good way to get killed in the night, that's common sense more than anything. He knows what he is doing, he is not a newbie, so he should know that tracker is one of the most powerful roles and one you don't want to claim too early.. The only reason he'd hold it in would be to try and cause confusion and to perhaps run down the day while diverting the attention from other Mafia members. It could also be an attempt to get PD lynched off, who is likely to be a townie. This would give the Mafia the upper hand in the game.

Pedophile seems a bit of an odd role to get, I was given a role which said I was an investigator, like Sherlock Holmes. I think my role was more legitimate.

Another thing to ponder, doesn't it seem strange that me in my first life, a townie, would be reassigned to a Mafia role? I don't buy it really.

I didn't say it wasn't possible or even comment on how likely it was, it was you who said it was unlikely, i don't really have any idea.

I wasn't really saying it's you or me either, again something it seems you are doing of yourself. I just said it was possibly a tactic you could be using.

I wasn't planning on keeping a secret heading into the night phase I was always going to reveal it, the reason that i staggered the information was that I just wanted to create two different phases of discussion to get a little more information in what was a stagnant day. If I wanted to run down the day I'd have just kept quiet or thrown out a random pressure lynch as nothing was going on.

I was fairly happy claiming as I should be safe for at least one night and probably more as the mafia has to assume I will be guarded tonight. And I felt that with a result I know to be so likely to be a mafia I need to make sure that information gets out when I could otherwise be killed tonight.

I think the best course of action here would be to lynch of puddleduck, he's highly likely to be mafia, as lynching either me or thedon is risky with the claims.

Edit: As for thedon it looks like quite the assault you have launched on me here. I can only think of two possible reason for this, 1 being that you actually were a tracker and don't believe there would be two in the game, but then you've criticised me for not saying there could be two so that would be a little inconsistent

And the other being mafia and thinking it's a solid fake counter-claim and a chance to get a key role lynched off.

Also as an aside it's not odd for a re-incarnated towny to be mafia. When varun pulled out in my first game it happened (IIRC, there is a chance it was just an external replacement, can look it up easy enough) and if you could only be town then there is no point bringing you in anyway if you're going to be cleared.

In a role madness game there is a good chance you could be a tracker as well, but with 16 people that is more than a bit uneven, having two of the EXACT same role doesn't seem wise to me. Even if that were to be the case it'd make more sense for you to be a watcher than a second tracker. I think there are vanilla townies in this game, so going on that basis you would have to be Mafia. I want to see what PD has to say. There is a still a slight chance you are telling the truth in my eyes, so let's see. I am not against lynching him if you convince me and other members of the town that is what we should do.

I also sense a little payback from Zhuorb there after lynching him the day before.

This is the most scummy post in the thread so far IMO. Not sure what to think about thedon5 & ste. ste doesn't have a clear understanding of his role, so even though their claims are the same, it's possible they're both town. They are discussing together, so if you're going to lynch one of them, you need a better reason that wanting a bandwagon. :/

For god's sake if you're town start posting properly. In such a game with lots of inexperience, we need every experienced member to contribute the best they can as early as possible, as we will be the ones who wind up dead sooner or later. And where's Manly?
