It lightens the mood up a bit, might even encourage a few more to post. As a matter of fact, this is a regular tactic i use in mafia games I play on other sites, and it is quite effective(not to mention fun).

My role says I'm an investigator. Haven't read Sherlock Holmes in a long time, but from the movies I watched more recently I gauge that he is more someone working on his own rather than for the police?

If not then maybe it isn't exactly a counter claim, but regardless, I still see ste claiming such a powerful role out of the blue as scummy.

Yes, Sherlock Holmes is more of an independent investigator than somebody for the police, hardly the choice for a cop, but well, he could still potentially be one.

OK, well my old role seems hard to understand. It could be that it's not actually a counter claim and that I was cop (I got no result so no way to tell).

I don't like ste claiming out of the blue, that is a good way to get yourself killed. However, his play has seemed good even with my rigorous questioning. The first line of the write-up also perhaps suggests a pedophile. Also take into account PD still hasn't posted since ste's reveal. What he has posted has been nothing overly helpful, one was a whinge about the players in the game, another was write-up analysis and the other was just the obvious "reveal who it is", which could be a good way for PD to perhaps isolate another power role when he knows his Mafia buddy performed the kill. All scummy behaviour IMO.

So I am going to go ahead with this, plus if he turns out being town we can lynch ste tomorrow. Either way, ste will be dead soon as a town power role can't be kept alive for so long. I want to at least put some pressure on PD.
