Playing for the Home team on a Tour

I am sure this question has been answered before, but is it possible to play for the home team in a tour? I want to play an Ashes series but I wanna play in England as England. Please tell me if it is possible.

i dont think its possible.

you could always just make a Test Series against Australia and play as England though

Yeah but you have to look at it from a tour point of view. Its called a tour cos thats what it is, you tour and play lots of matches. If you were at home all you'd play is the series and the odd odi series, so you may as well just play a test series.
