Well I've gone back and started playing yellow again but we're talking about Heart Gold atm mainly because it has both the Kanto and Johto regions.

Same. Do you have the original DS? It can't handle WPA security, only WEP which is much weaker.

Nah I have a DS lite.

I can't be bothered changing my security to WEP then back to WPA. I've also got mac address filtering enabled and a gigantic pass phrase. Not worth it.
