Man, i've already been banned 3 times before if i remember right, mod-previewed few/many times, and I've changed alot since then.

Why? The points are the punishment for misbehaviour. Continual breaking of the rules results in mod-preview and then the various lengths of bans. Or do you think that offenders generally have poor threads?

Could you possibly go into more detail as to why you think that?

If you reply to something off topic, you are off topic yourself. In general I don't care if you have an off topic aside in a post but if that is all your post is, then it is against the rules. Have something on topic and useful to say at the same time and you will be fine.

It is called self control Usy. You can't stop the thought of the brain, but you can have control of your fingers on your keyboard. Just because you think/feel like it doesn't mean you need to.

Some pillock complains that we're not all jesus and suddenly the revolution begins, can we now add a system where if you reply to a txt style post you get an instant ban? Also can we ban all the people under 13 who dont have parental permission as i believe that is illegal.

Well, I am new to the forum, and I must admit, having a quick glance around, the forum does look very good.

I have only seen a few people using 'text talk' but I have to be carefull not to use that, I love it!

I dont think we should introduce this into the Cricket 07 download forum because most of them are Indians and sub continent countries which dont know too much English. Is there really that much harm in saying "thx gud patch ".

That makes a hell lot of difference. The general quality gets degraded. And the post doesn't look nice at all. How much time does it take to type 'Thanks. That's a great patch '?

I agree with you, they just need to get used to it though. The members that have been here a couple of weeks sort of understand how everything works, but still tend to use text speak as all the newbies (which at the moment is a lot of people) use it. Its good that we implementing this now, because PC had a great member boost during the ipl season and lots of people have stayed from then. They just need to know how it works here in PC and they will be fine.
