70+ points , 1 year, hell yeah, start working boys. :p

OK, I got the system, great system.

IMO, Racism needs no points, it's a straigh Red card, giving them a yellow means, you let someone get away with calling someone with a N word or a P word..

I don't understand why you were banned 3 times with thoughts like that. I completely agree with you on that.

Just another thing with text speak are you allowed to use btw etc every now and then? some very common ones? Or is it a complete ban on those words? :cheers

Because not all his posts have been to the standard of that one. It is effectively an instant ban for racism, just now there is a minimum ban length, at staff discretion the ban can be lengthened.

Those are just abbreviations and as such are fine.

That makes a hell lot of difference. The general quality gets degraded. And the post doesn't look nice at all. How much time does it take to type 'Thanks. That's a great patch :thumbs'?

Shut up you complete moron. I dont think people understand that its only the internet. If we can be lazy here where can we. This forum is a bloody chore full of sheep who all jump on the bandwagon. We have an underage child who should have easily been banned winning most improved member. This forum is a disgrace cause its full of morons who want teh p0w3r!"!"!!!!!

I've been here a lot longer than you if we're gonna start discussing how long we've been on PC

I was going to ask this. Isn't there a certain age you have to be to join this forum?

Anyway there is nothing wrong with typing properly and posting something good, it makes the forum a better place and a better community.

By law, there is no age limit to posting on a forum.

However, because Giggity is under 13, the laws (in the US and UK state) that the parents have to fill out a form, and fax/e-mail it to the administrators.

I have no idea whether this happened or not, but I believe somebody like Ste or Colin would know.

If you want to know what I'm talking about, log out, and try to register an account.

Make your birthdate so you are under 13 years of age - then you'll know what I mean.

EDIT: Err - I don't think the option has been activated on this forum. I do know most forums do have this - I think the law / tool is called COPPA for this.

Google it.

Alright, I did the research myself.

COPPA is a law in the United States only. Therefore, it would not apply in this case.

Basically ANY website collecting information from a minor (under 13 year old) is required to have parental consent first.

Fines can range from USD $75,000 to $1 million USD.

Time to get the Cheque book out lads :P.

Now make me a mod.

Just looking through COPPA regulations, if an under 13 registered on PC, and posted, and a parent found out.

PlanetCricket = screwed.

The minor is able to post information on a website, which is one of the things that they shouldn't be able to do without parental consent.

Somebody should rectify this ASAP (Just activate COPPA :p)

zMario added 1 Minutes and 47 Seconds later...

What did you do? I figured all this out :p

Don't the Coppa regulations only cover sites where information is used commercially? I thought non-profit entities were exempt.
