Luckily cricket isn't too popular in America so there shouldn't be too much risk, but this is all down to the admins and what they think.

It's a cricket game forum. But I believe the plan is to make it a cricket forum in the future. That's what I was told a couple of months ago anyway.

you can find that somewhere in the PC Magazine somewhere, (not trying to advertise it here ;P) That this may turn into a full Cricket forum from a gaming, also Ste said "i'll come on once a cricket game comes out".

Well I've had the honors of reporting my first post. Although there are lots of comments in the downloads forums, which are against the rules, but I don't have the heart to report them because they say good work etc. What do you think mods

Stop being so soft :p

well there are enough posts to report already without adding these ones lol. You might want to venture in the downloads forum its quite nice ;)

Great work mods, I saw so many different people in the downloads forums today always on. There has been an average of 2 mods on there all the time. I'm sure people will learn soon and you won't need hang around each time

I think a way of cleaning up the downloads section would be to appoint a moderator that is active in that Area. I think Black Magic would make a very good one. :)

Cricketman added 1 Minutes and 35 Seconds later...

I joined when I was 12 and I live in the US :p. I should've sued :p

That might be a good idea because the mods there are tutsi and Brett_Lee, both users who haven't logged on for months (Well Tutsi logged on July 3rd, and Brett_Lee hasn't logged on since the forum was upgraded)

Oh, and I decided that I'm going to have my 5 year old brother sign up here whenever I go back to the US :D

Time to make some easy money

W000t :p

Basically if Giggity was in the USA, and his parents did not know about it, and sued.

The parents would win.

I can install a very easy COPPA mod, in which the user will register as normally, and enter their birth-date.

Once a birthdate is entered, and it is under 13, it will block the IP address and in the cookies, not allow the user to register an account until the COPPA form is filled out and sent to the administrators.

Just a thought :p
PlanetCricket is child friendly, that's why we have me, Tuaha, Toby(PPNR) and more. We don't need COPPA to stop our young atmosphere here at PC, also we have the old heads as well for the kiddy/parent feeling.

Yeah, why stop young children registering at an anti-racism forum?
Well, of course PlanetCricket is an anti-racism forum, is'nt it? PlanetCricket does'nt allow racism and abusive words.

I've had my 1st infraction, (note to self don't post in C2k7 downloads forum) how are we supposed to know if our comments are legitimate? I don't get how my post wasn't legit, it was on topic and everything.

"Great work KUTGW!"

"Thanks mate. A really good kit. The logo's are cut very well and placed well too. The badge could be higher up but other than that it is a very good kit. Thanks again."

A big difference between the posts. Do you get it GG?

Report them as per my announcement in that forum. The staff member at hand will then deal with it.

Some of you guys need to lighten up a bit. If the forum wants to be promoted as suitable for all ages (which I assume it is) then you're going to get some posts which don't look as though they have much effort, that's life, as long as it's not abusive I don't see the problem. It seems now that a new user could join have a first message of 'Well done mate' and get some sort of warning for it? Is that right? Does that really encourage new members?

Also some of you guys especially at the start of this thread are hypocrites. How you can moan about other peoples grammar is beyond me when your own is not perfect.

No one said any of us are perfectionist, but the thing is, most of us don't go around using text language and the sorts...

All most people are asking is a clamp down on this, not grammar in general.
