You can't really help others unless there is probably a reward system in place for the quality posters. That may help us a far bit. I am not all that sure though on this idea.

The rep system does that.Good quality posts get +reps and bad posts get -reps.

The thing, that is so attractive about this forum is it's not baised and up to date, unlike some other forums. Just found out now, after 3/4 years. yay.

That also happened on another forum, they reset all the reps and then later removed it.

Maybe, a rule not slugging people to rep others consistently can stop the rep boost? Yes, If a rule like "Repping a person only 5 times in a month" and a repping limit should be implemented.. that'll really break these things out of the mind!..

I'm sure it would just be easier for the admins to turn the rep system off for abusers of the system.

To be honest I don't really agree with the rep system and when I get to 1500 reps and want my rep powers disabled as I feel it's not needed. I say get rid of it once and for all.

If this is true, then I believe that my post count is going to move at no speed at all.

Wrong decision in my opinion. I think that with having a post count, it meant more. Now it'll just become like the NET&G forum, but with a bit more meaning.

I know my words won't make the admins rethink, i'm just a lowly idiot. But hopefully fellow hardcore Cricsimers will agree with me to say that the action is reversed!
