Sedition, if you believe BKB's investigation on you was affected by Colin, where in the Night 1 writeup do you think it is depicted? There are two descriptions which could be referring to the BD's switches, and one of them seems doctor ('gruelling, expensive, years of training') while the other doesn't seem to me to be referring to a cop. Why would 'confusion veil' a cop's eyes?

Years of training. It had been expensive and gruelling. His skills were undoubted, but tonight, perhaps they were misplaced.

He slunk around, at home as he always was when day went to rest. He had his target in mind, but confusion instead veiled his eyes.

Successful indeed. Depending on who you work for.

I'm positive the first line is the Doc with the reference to expensive training. We know Aditya protected Barmy, but if Barmy was able to switch himself, then he could have done so last night. So by misplaced it must be partly a clue to the BD and a reference to Barmy not being the mafia's target.

The second line must be the reference to BKB investigating me and the confusion is a result of the bus, but not explicitly giving away how the result was affected. Even before knowing what we know now, those two lines did feel linked with the "misplaced" and "confusion" suggesting a BD is present.

And then the third line must be referring to the bus being successful and giving someone a favourable result. The tone of the line "depending on who you work for" felt anti-town from the beginning, so it must be referring to the mafia having me come up as guilty and allowing them more time to sit back while we accuse each other.

If it was the standard BD, then this cannot be true though.

1 - Aditya's targets were 'misplaced'. Given he says he targeted Colin, Colin must have switched himself with someone.

2 - If the second one refers to BKB getting a wrong result, then did Colin swap himself with Sedition? Don't see how he'd get a mafia result on him though, unless he was miller BD which would be weird.

If you consider the second BD variation (which switches the targets' targets, instead of switching who targets the targets), it still can't be true. If the switched players' targets were switched then BKB and Aditya must have been switched, in which case BKB would investigate Barmyarmy and get town, and Aditya would protect you.

Thus, the two can't represent the doc and the cop.

@Varun - I can reveal who I protected last night, if you want. I feel I was switched with the person I protected because I guess the write up suggests somewhere that I cannot protect myself.

You mean this one? It is possible but given how smoothly the standard one fits into the writeup I find it unlikely. Another variation is the combination of both, but it causes enormous confusion which would have been apparent in the writeup. I don't find the writeup that confusing right now.

I'm leaning towards this as well. He says he was switched by Colin, but I have shown that it can't be given he was the standard BD. And I am pretty sure he was the standard BD.

Yeah, I'm getting real close to putting in a lynch on Sedition too. His story does not add up IMO, and he's made far too many assumptions IMO on how Colin used his role in the first two nights.

Where did you show that it can't be possible with a standard BD? The post I made was describing what happened with a standard BD as that's the only variation I've seen. Still trying to get my head around the other variations you're mentioning, but they seem less likely, especially if Aditya protected me and Barmy switched us as described in the write-up.
