Random Thoughts

63* on Saturday. First game of the season, batting at 4 under a new captain. 2 6s and 6 4s. Quite pleased with myself.

Left my wife and son at her parents yesterday. I will have a lot of time for finishing Fallout Vegas but I miss my son already :noway

What's the difference between League and Union?

Ollie covered most of the major gameplay points.

Union requires more skill and is more tactical, while League was invented after Union to bring more entertainment to the game, but I definitely find it more boring to watch.

Sevens is a another variation of Union which is the T20 of Rugby, you may have seen it at the Commonwealth Games.

League does have bigger hits, because the defensive line has to be 10 metres back from the tackle (except the two markers), while in Union they can be pretty much in line with the ruck.

In terms of the rugby union world cup which is in New Zealand later this year, in the New Zealand Herald today it listed 40 New Zealand rugby union players that are currently out with injury.

I prefer watching the warriors to super 15, but I prefer union tests.

I've been getting into a bit of Toyota Cup this season, I find it's a better watch the actual NRL. It's pretty much a try every five - ten minutes in it, while the NRL can be back and forwards for sometimes the whole half. It does help that someone from my school last year is playing for the Storm under 20s though.

And also lol at Auckland Grammer, two schoolboy rugby brawls over the last few years, and they've been in both of them, so much for the best state/non private school in Auckland.

If you liked Fallout 3, you will love this one. Better shooting mechanics but still not FPS quality. Campaigns are varied and fun.

Grammar basically is a private school :spy

They handpick there out of zoners (I think), but anyone in zone is guaranteed aren't they?

(I'm six houses outside their zone)

Just the exclusiveness and the way things are done there, people normally classify it as semi-private now

It wouldn't surprise me if he posted that from his cell :p
