Personally I think Shoaib Akhar has way more potential, But Brett Lee uses what he has to his best.

Who IS the better bowler? Brett Lee. He's matured as a bowler very well.

Who WAS the better bowler? Akhtar I'd say if pushed, he produced some stunning stuff in his day, that Lee only produced very occasionally.

Who would I have in my team? Brett Lee any day of the week. He can bat and field very well for a bowler, and of course a really nice bloke who doesn't take anything

Fully agree. When he put his brain into cricket, he was as deadly as any other great fast bowler. Sadly he never did often.
