Really Need Help !!

Hey there I bought cricket 2005 for the P.C the first day it was released.
The game is brilliant but there is one problem that is spoiling the game.
I cannot hit the ball behind me all i can do is hit it to the sides and in front of me
Sorry about my bad cricket terms but i have only been interested in cricket for about a month now.
What button do i press to hit the ball behind me ?

S + up&right arrows for sweep

yea. you should go diagonal backwards. The up arrow alone wont do anything.

Yeah i do this but can you tell me what position the ball should be...
Should it be short middle short left short right...or yorkies..but i will try it now

if the ball is pitched short on leg stump or inside leg stump hit the right button and the back footed shot button and the ball will glance to the back and roll out for 4. sorry I don't know the name for the spot on the field that the ball goes to!!

if the ball is short u can try playing hook shot otherwise just sweep...and if the ball is going to be straighter one chances r evident that u r quite prone to lbws.

I just tried it but i cant get any runs from that..
Bluto11 and kapten can you explain those cricket terms in english = ) because i am not familier with cricket terms

No need now !! i fully understand cricket terms !! my best score is 595 runs !!
