The television rights for the series has been decided. Sky Sports will show it in England, Channel 9 in Australia, and Ten Sports in the Middle East. All the television channels have also quite oddly decided to use the samer presentation team & layout that was used in the World Cup. When questioned why, they all had the same reason - "Budget Problems". And no question why, they have paid $78 billion apiece for these series...
Good Presentation there Zorexdoom. The first test will start soon. I will post updates soon so gear up boys and show Ricky ponting that we are talented players not a bunch of talentless boys.
The media caught up woth the two capitains before the first test at Lords. Here is what they each had to say:
Saurav Ganguly We will try our best to topple the Aussies here. They have been quite an arrogant bunch of late, and feel they are just wasting their time playing with us. If they did, they should stand up to the ICC like India did, but since they are cowards they have decided to play us. We have a highly talented bunch here, we are going to put up a real fight. I hope I can get into form, I might even pick up a few wickets.
Ricky Ponting This should be a good warmup before the Ashes. They are a talented bunch, admittedly led by a capitian who is mch like the England tea -Can't bat, bowl or field. We are looking for a good contest, although it may be hard to find. We know the English crowd here will be supporting them, but after facing the South African crowds, they would be as much as a distraction as a lullaby at night.
So a lot of mud-slinging going about, here is hoping for a good series!
