IPL Royal challengers Bangalore (SEASON 5 : Evaluation))

yes we need great finisher like ross or uthappa .dilshan was very bad signing for us he havent impressed any one so far just getting out in inside 20 runs and playing lots of ball. I hope next years transfer window we should look to sign some big players. I guess transfering dilshan to delhi and bringing ross will be a great idea

Robin Uthappa or Parthiv Patel with the current team would be perfect.
I just wonder why RCB didn't buy Parthiv Patel in the auction earlier.

RCB lacks one good local batsman as for most of the season, beyond the international imports and Virat, there has not been much in the RCB batting. Also, a strike bowler would be an excellent inclusion.

What i feel is we must just have this line up

01. Mayank Agarwal

02. Chri Gayle

03. Virat Kohli (C)

04. AB.Deviller's (WKB)

05. Missing Pinch Hitter

06. Saurabh Tiwary

07. Daniel Vettori / Muralitharan

08. R Vinay Kumar

09. Zaheer Khan

10. Harshal Patel / Parameshwaram

11. K.P Appanna / Syed Mohammad (Only In Spinning Surface) or else A Mithun / S Arvind

And please do note T20 does not need 5 or 6 good batsmen or bowlers to win a game you just need 2 good batsmen at a right place and 3 good bowlers who snatches wickets and rest should be good fielders

I don't think RCB needs a pinch hitter. In my opinion, they need a player like Rohit Sharma or Mahela Jaywardene who has ability to anchor the innings as well as up the scoring rate if needed. Chris Gayle and AB are more than good at hitting the ball and with the likes of Tiwary to follow who does nothing but hit the ball at most times, a batsmen who can switch gears could be of utmost importance in the side filled with stars. Also, there is no need to go for 5 specialist bowlers, I think Gayle and other part timers can do a decent job.

have a look into my rcb line up next season :D

C. Gayle
A. kartick
V. Kohli
S. tiwary
Ab. Devilliers
A. Mcdonald
M. Agarwal
D. Vettori
Vinay kumar
zaheer khan
harshal Patel

remember this line up with our current squad. If rcb makes some big signing in next years ipl 6 in transfer window then my line up will be change.for now i guess this will be perfect line up now our team looks bat deep till 10 also bolwing line up as well .gayle here and there to bowl few overs (if needed) and also we have mcdonald as all rounder

Apart for Z. Khan RBC needs a finisher, a bowler that can bowler in the last 5 overs, they should have thought of sitting Daniel earlier and we would have won more matches, it was just too much responsibility for Gayle. Now the question is will they throw Gayle in the auction next season, because some guys they paid big money for did not earn their pay!!

IMO they do need a pinch hitter, they can't always bank on Gayle for doing the damage at the top and AB is always good at anchoring the innings and finishing it so its necessary that we need a good pinch hitter and we don't need to search for one as we do have a sinning who made a news for unnecessary reason (Pormasbach) and at the bowling i don't feel we need any good bowlers if we shuffle the one's on the bench and we do need 5 bowlers and bank on the bats from 1-6 :thumbs

Arun making it to the 11 is something next to impossible until ab is injured and he has to pass on from Cm Gautham again and its a good squad but not the best :thumbs

Vinay is good enough if he stick to his basics as he did in the last few games and both Zax and Vinay combination along with Param and harshal is good enough :thumbs

@ WestIndian : Nice to see you support RCB :cheers

I think Akash Chopra will be a good option :D....have him in your team....rest assured....he wont give his wicket away for the entire 20 overs.....:thumbs

:p

that is true he will be there for entire 20 overs and other one is ganguly who can also stay for entire 20 overs without lifting his bat :D

The mistakes what has happened for RCB has occurred in both the auctions.

The mistake of buying both Pujara and Kaif is one, with leaving Parthiv Patel alone the second one.

Agree?

pujara for me looks great then patel pujara start of the inning he looks to play few ball after that he can play a good shots and good inning i feel he is a perfect pair for giving company to gayle he can clear boundaries at the same time as well. even if his strike rate ends up in 110 or 115 if feel he done terrific job. You just look the strike rate of dilshan overall its 118 i guess. can you believe that the player like of dilshan is it good enough he is a attacking player who likes to score very quickly but i think he is mainly failing because of gayle to give him more strike that's why he plays lots of ball and get out early

for a second i thought we should look to get aaron in next transfer window but now no need last couple of matches he is terrible :p

Agree at pujara but kaif i don't think he is bad but the thing is he is not getting the opportunity to showcase his tallent and @ Parthiv Patel yes he is a good player who could have brought in and we could have made him play with chris @ the top leaving Mayank to come @ 4 so we could have had 2 crunch batters AB and Tiwary @ 5 & 6 and played some good hard hitting All round batsmen at 7
