Rugby Union

Rathbone, Paul and Waugh have come into the starting lineup for the ABs game. Rathbone was picked cause of his extra speed but hopefully Gerrard can make himself into a decent inside centre or 5/8 although I never thought he was slow a few years back when he was scoring tries from all over the place on the wing.

A better performance by the Wallabies especially in the 1st half. Sadly 2nd half they got little possession and when they got the ball they knocked it on. We had our chance with a few minutes left but yet again another knock on.

Tuqiri banned for 11 weeks, but that only means one game he will miss lol. This weeks thing is stupid espeically if you are winding down your rugby season. But it does make the jury look tough suspending a player for 11 weeks.

Definitely a quality contest between the two heavyweight nations, of which has evidenced Australia's huge improvement (keeping in mind last year's efforts) and made clear that they are indeed a force to be reckoned with come next September's WC. The AB's were calm whilst behind, and didn't let the Wallabies secure the, err, initiative.
SA haven't played a home game, have they? That's a joke, the series being decided before they even hosted another side, and everyone knows how dangerous the Africans are at home.
Yeah, the Tuqiri ban was a little strange- did you see him in the press conference? Connolly finished making his statement, there was silence for like thirty seconds, and Tuqiri goes "uh, so, can I go now"? :p
Interesting to see Waugh starting ahead of Smith, too, or was there something wrong with the latter...?

The tri nations wasn't scheduled too well but the Wallabies are partly to blame for their stuff up in their one home match.

Smith was benched nothing wrong with him apart from a loss of form. We did much better at the breakdown last week but too many penalties given.

Benn Robinson has been included in the squad to fly to SA. I hope he gets a go, he looks to be a talent in the scrum so maybe he will be our saviour :)

AB's take it comfortably after trailing early on....Carter slotted a 62-metre penalty, too! Making use of that altitude :p

Probably could have gone further too! SA looked much better with Andre on the park. He will definitely be the 10 this week.

I'm hearing the Wallabies will start Rogers and Robinson, Larkham looks like he needs a rest or more time to think about our new plans and Robinson is a talent at prop.

Don't put your money on the All Blacks for winning the world cup, they are chokers cant win crucial world cup games and they have yet to play France

they already beat france last year in france. our sole objective was to beat south africa in south africa which was achieved last week which made us the best team in the world. it was a good fight back by south africa today even though we had our backups playing

i admit we dont perform well in the world cup but i think henry will put that right next year

That ABs team was more than capable of beating the Boks, infact it was better than the previous weeks one. You guys had Hayman and Mauger back. It was the same old story for the ABs, their lineout problems.

Good to see SA coming away with at least one triumph for the series, heading into their last encounter against Australia of course. I didn't see it, and have been out all day so haven't heard alot about it, bar the final score. The AB's have awesome back-up strength as everyone knows, and I'm sure they were capable of victory, but SA are pretty darn good at home..

ohh,the 15 match unbeaten streak ends:(
sounded like a good game,on to early in the morning for my liking
full credit to the south africans
