You should do in Cricket 05 or ICC 3 :)

obviously its hard because of the IPL thing.......I woudlnt use screenshots anyway (look at my story already) so a simulator is perfect really

Sachin is retiring just casue of IPL ? dont call that a wise decission ;)

Don't even think that Sachin will do that in real life. :p Just get up from dream, WC ;)

A good thought of trying to integrate with IPL.. but I will only request you to do that after completing the cracking CB series. Looking forward to it :thumbs

Hopes and Hussey played really well. Poor guys the Lankans couldn't put up a fight.

Use a simulator as it will be good for the type of story you have.

ye CB series will be finished update coming today

lol, because I was bit confused why you asked to mention pretence if anyone reading that part of SL vs Aus match update. So I just expressed my worries for Tendulkar alone to WC's comment. :)

Another batting track and the only change is Yuvraj comes in for Dravid. Its just to rest him after the long series so far and give him a chance to get to 100% for the next game. Dhoni was planning on batting first and when we lost the toss they chose to bat. Not the first time its happened and although we have been on top in prity much every innings so far, I know the power of the Australian batting line and with Ponting, Symonds, Clarke and Gilchrist in the middle order they could be incredibly dangerous. With about 5 minutes to go until the start of the match the teams were announced on the big screen.

With everybody ready and the teams announced we followed the umpires onto the field and watched Dave Hussey take guard. It was an incredibly hot day with not much wind and the pitch was a rock. Sreesanth was back at his mark and we had a two slips in place for the first ball of the day. Sreesanth ran in, but Hussey backed away pretending he wasn?t ready. As Sreesanth stormed back to his mark I looked at Hussey, 37 and 13 in his two ODI matches, not the best start but now he was winding up the bowler. Was it a mistake or was it the correct choice, only time will tell.

Has Sreesanth won the mental battle?

The next 10 overs were ours without doubt. They scored 39 runs and the batsmen looked like they were completely different standards throughout. Hussey managed to slowly drag his way onto 15 from 38 balls playing and missing, edging and getting hit on the pads time after time. Hayden on the other hand powered through taking the attack and scoring 21(24). Sharma was again expensive but Sreesanth bowled amazingly. He bowled with aggression, control and knowledge going for 15 from his 5 overs and he could have had a few wickets in that. The spinners are on and the next 20 overs could be theirs if they bowl well.

If Harby bowls well we can win the game in the next 20 overs

The next 20 overs were ours with both Kumble and Harbhajan bowling well with turn and bounce. All of the batsmen struggled and by the 30 over mark we had them 108-4. Kumble took 3-33 and Harbhajan 35-1. The batting was poor with all getting starts and no-one going on. Hussey, Hayden and Symonds all got out for between 20 and 30. This was there own faults and getting out after a start is a batsmen?s worst nightmare. Apart from a golden duck, yes Ricky was beaten by Kumble and caught behind by Dhoni first ball. With the score now on 108-4 I am hoping we can really finish this off now and keep them under 200. On this track 300 is a par score so we are all very happy in the field.

Golden for Ricky and 4 wickets for the spinners gives India pole position for the last 20 of the innings

The next 20 were the worst of the series for us going for 133 at nearly 7 an over. Clarke bashed 76 from 89, Gilly smashed 49 from 66 before an unlucky run out. The bowling from the quicks was really shoddy with Pathan 67-1 from 10, Sharma 55-1 from 10 and Sreesanth 41-0 from 10. I was disappointed with the finish but Sourav and I knew the plan as we padded up. Go slow early, wait for the bad balls, run well and make sure that under no circumstances do we throw It away. We have a solid order and are not chasing many, lets just hope I can play an innings like the last one.

Hoping for another good start

Well we started well and the first 20 overs have been a dream. Sourav and I put on a quickish 40 in 9 overs before Sourav was caught at point for 26(30) off Hopes. Since then Yuvraj and I have put on 89 in 11 overs and dominated everything. Yuvraj has hit 39*(27) and I just got my 50 now on 60*(67). We are both going really well and the Australians are on the back foot now. The pitch is doing nothing and the Aussies are dead in the field, with 113 from 30 to win I cannot see us losing.

89 in 11 overs and Yuvraj and I are on fire

Honestly I don?t think I have been in better form for years. The ball was coming on well and I just felt so good out there. We won with 18 overs and 7 wickets remaining so it really was a dominant victory. Yuvraj deserves gull credit and I don?t think he will be dropped for Rahul as he scored a quickfire 76 from 54 ball and hit 4 sixes in the process. His innings was aggressive, mature and magnificent showing he deserves his spot in the side. Laxman finished on 33* and I finished on 97* my fourth score over 50 in four innings. Overall it was a simple victory and a really dominant one for us.
