NSW were bowled out for 271 just after lunch on the second day losing their last 4 wickets for only 5 runs. Rest of Australia have a long batting lineup so it will be tough going for NSW

Playing around with my T20 sliders and had a really fun game, WI were racing away with it before Maharaj and then markram took it from them at the end . WI needed 5 from the last 2 balls , markram finally got blackwood which was a nice ring catch and then bowled a dot to end it. I wish spin was more balanced in the game on both sides of the ball but hey I had fun!

In regards to spin, I just had a match where my front line spinner took 11 wickets in a test match, no real surprise there, so I've decided to just nuke my spinners attributes and they didn't take a wicket in the first innings of the next match, but still went a reasonable economy. So if in the 2nd innings they pick up a few wickets, maybe that's just what you have to do with spinners, just make them really only as good attribute wise as part timers which is around 45-55.

Yeh I'm extremely hesitant to reskill because I don't want to break the game but you may be right. I don't have the time or patience anymore to play longer formats so I'm narrowing in on the T20 format. I've gone a bit crazy and have expanded my fictional T20 league to 24 teams in 6 divisions consisting of a pool of 400 players. So I'm worried about reskilling all for nothing

Oh yeah that would be painful, I mean I'm only playing as one side, so whenever I start a new match i just rescale whatever spinner is in the side, leave the opposition spinners as quite strong because I play spin better than pace tbh, so it balances that side of it out when im batting

Wow you play spin better! I can't play spin at all unless I time the reverse sweep well enough . I do have a plan in mind for reskilling based on roles in t20 such as power play bowlers, anchors, death bowlers, pinch hitters and finishers, some similar to what wasteyouryouth has talked about previously. But i don't want to clutter this thread more than I already have. Maybe I'll create a new thread!

First Test match of the 2018 BGT is complete, and just like in real life, India take a 1-0 lead from Adelaide. KL Rahul with twins tons set the Indians up, as they chased 260 in the 4th innings. Travis Head's brutal 135, and Scott Bolands 7 wickets on debut go in vain. A day by day recap is available here. We now head to Perth, which in reality is where Australia got their only victory of the series.

So, after finding my first T20 world franchise competition was too "star heavy" and the key players weren't standing out, I expanded the competition to a 24 team tournament divided into 6 leagues, the ANZSA 6, The Atlantic 6, The Asia 6 and the Arab Gulf 6. The top 2 teams in each league will head to the quarter finals.

The draft pool consisted of 400 players with each player given a price. A draft then took place with each team picking a team with a budget of 120m. Different teams had different strategies, the Manchester Mavericks went heavy on youth with Harry Brook being their marquee signing, the Sydney Sixers went for experience on shorter term deals which will result in a higher turnover of players and finally the Dubai Desert Kings went with big names and managed to sign Kohli and Ms Dhoni.

The competition starts with Melbourne hosting the ANZSA 6 where the Joburg Giants took on the Sydney Sixers. I played as Joburg and chased down a respectable 175. Warner's unbeaten 80 and Pollard coming in as the finisher with a 42* sealed the win. Tabraiz Shamsi was great with the ball taking 4 wickets including Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell and Andre Russell.
