India and Australia would both announce changes to their side at the toss. Virat Kohli would confirm the speculation that India would play with 2 spinners, with Kuldeep Yadav being selected in place of Ishant Sharma. For Australia it was Michael Neser who would return to the side, with Victorian Scott Boland was dropped after a poor showing on his home deck in Melbourne.
Virat Kohli would win the toss, and for the first time this series, India would bat first.

India is in a fantastic position thanks another brilliant bowling performance. Bumrah, Jadeja with 3, while again Shami leads the way with 4 wickets. Marcus Harris' 57 the only shining light for Australia as India hold a first innings lead.

Australia fought hard, with Cummins leading the way. However the test looks to be heading only one way, rain is imminent within the next few hours, and rain forecasted all day tomorrow, it looks unlikely of play on day 5. Australia's unlikely attempt to chase this may never have the chance to get going.

It's a tame way to end a fantastic series. A history making series! India become the first Asian side to win a test series in Australia and haven't they earnt every bit of it! Kohli and his man gone to heights no Asian side before him has. A bitter bitter pill to swallow for Justin Langer and Cameron White.

Australia announce squad for ODI series vs India 5th January, 2019
Australia's ODI squad has been announced for the upcoming series against India. While there isn't any major surprises, it's the first time that Mitchell Starc will be reintroduced to an Australian squad since Cape Town. Khawaja and Hazlewood featured in the test squads for the last 2 tests, without making an appearance, and will join Starc in hoping they will be able to return to Australian colours. Starc's strong start in the BBL proving that he is still a force to be reckoned with when he has the white ball in his hand. Nathan Lyon has also earned a call up to the ODI squad, hoping to play his first ODI since 2016. Matthew Wade has earned a recall to the squad, however it looks unlikely he will play the first ODI, as vice captain Alex Carey has been the main white ball keeper in the past year.
The 3 Match ODI series begins on the 12th in Sydney, before heading to Adelaide, with the finale in Melbourne.
Aaron Finch Peter Handscomb Travis Head Usman Khawaja
Alex Carey (vc) Matthew Wade
Glenn Maxwell (vc) D'Arcy Short Marcus Stoinis
