It seems as though everyone is nicking other people's ideas, all credit really goes to the first person who thought of it, and it loses it's originality afterwards.

Aussies will win this one for sure.

Great bowling by Binga. Well done mate :clap. I bet you would have been happy Brett_Lee seeing you favourite cricketer get a 6for.

Great presenation Brett! Well done. :clap :clap :clap.

Australia have shown they are the best side in the world today. Great work by all of the Australians. India batted well in the first innings but from there on in it was curtains for them.

Reported by Leigh Hatcher and Sharon McKenzie with First Edition.
Firsteditionaus.jpg

Australia has selected a strong team in their first match at Kolkata in the 20/20 ODI SERIES.

Ricky Ponting is to captain the side whilst Adam Glichrist is vice.

The squad for the series shows a couple of new faces in OD since Bangladesh..

Ricky Ponting
Adam Gilchrist
Matthew Hayden
Michael Clarke
Mike Hussey
Brad Hodge
Damien Martyn
Andrew Symonds
Brett Lee
Dan Cullen
Simon Katich
Phil Jaques
Stuart Clark
Glenn McGrath
Shaun Tait
Shane Watson
Brad Hogg
Michael Kasprowicz
Nathan Bracken

The squad chosen

Adam Gilchrist + (VC)
Matthew Hayden
Ricky Ponting (C)
Phil Jaques
Damien Martyn
Mike Hussey
Simon Katich
Michael Clarke
Brett Lee
Stuart CLark
Shaun Tait
BRAD HOGG (12th Man)

So as you can see a strong batting lineup
Brett Lee will lead the bowling line up with 3 pace demons and Michael clarkes spinners will be great as they were in the tests. Mike hussey will bowl as the 5th bowler
Andrew Symonds and Glenn McGrath are being rested due to recent sickness they should be alright to play in game two.

We caught up with the aussie selectors....

Sky: An Interesting side picked for hte first game
AS: Yes it quite is. We are just experimenting. A usual Aussie side should be picked in game 2 giving some players an oppertuinty to start impressing for the Ashes ahead
Sky: Symonds, Mcgrath will they be fit for next match?
AS: Yes they should be.
Sky: Thanks for that Cricket Australia.
