I promoted Pathan to no.3 so Dhoni shifted from 7 to 8th position. I am playing with 6 main batsmen, 1 keeper and 4 bowlers.

India move closer to win​

Sachin and Dhoni played sensibly in last overs and mainly tried to rotate strike with singles without trying anythink big. Ponting tried many things by giving ball to all its bowlers including bracken, Watson and Hogg but none of them was able to break this partnership. He even went with an attacking field to force Indians to go over the top but all in vain.

India is now 215/6 in 45 overs and they need only 25 more runs to win. Sachin is now in his 90s.

Sachin completes his 39th ODI hundred​

Its a good length delivery from Watson and sachin drived it straight to long-off and with this single Sachin gets to his 39th ODI hundred in his 355th ODI match. This is Sachin's 8th one day century against Australia. A brilliant hundred from Sachin which took 123 balls and included 12 boundaries. It is a top class inning from Little Master and he single handed brought the team close to a win.

Now India is 229/6 in 48 overs. They now need only 11 runs to win off 2 overs with 4 wickets in hand. Both these have added 45 runs so far for seventh wicket among them.
