The Champions Trophy about to start

Today, the Champions Trophy is about to be kicked off. Let's hope for an even contest. The opening match is a Group A match between New Zealand and the West Indies.

The comparison between the two teams suggests an even contest, with maybe Windies swinging it. But anything can happen in a game of cricket. The wicket here in Mumbai looks very flat and the bowlers will have to work hard to get anything out of it.

Brian Lara and Ramnaresh Sarwan batted incredibly well and won the game for the West Indies. The New Zealand bowlers didn't know what linbe or length to bowl to them as they were wreaking havoc and ruining New Zealand's chances of a first win in this competition.

Most of New Zealand's bowlers got some stick, but they fail to use their economical bowlers. Such as Franklin, Oram and Bond. They preferred to stick with Mills and Styris who were being smashed all over the park.

The man of the match was Brian Lara and West Indies win by six wickets.
