I dont like the first sig at all...but I like the hodge sig but the left picture is not clear!

definetly not your best but at least you ccan improve but the second one is better

Is the first sig your entry for SOTW? I like it but improve the text. The Hodge one looks good with a simple bg, add a gradient map as the bg doesn't go with the render at the moment, make both darker or lighter:to dark green or yellower - you could also use an adjustment layer for the colours. Also, erase some of the text with little opacity to blend it in, because it is a good choice of fonts.
