Unlike most i spent quite some time on this....so go on then...how good is it? How can i improve?

It's not bad. You've reverted to your old ways with the text though. It just doesn't go with the sig at all. Background is nice but the render could do with a bit more work as well.

yeah looks nice man...text still needs improvement though...also looks a bit too over sharpened and pixely (the BG)...but nice render effects...

Now i dont like being negetive, and i dont like saying bad things, but this is crap, i tried a tut...and used the brushed it said and it didnt turn out anything like, BUT i believe it has potential if a pro got hold of it.

It doesn't fit the style of the sig. You have a habit of using outrageous fonts that take the focus away from the render. Just use some simple ones like Times New Roman and Aerial. It works wonders.
