England vs. Australia
England will be competing in the cup competition after taking home a 34 run win over fierce rivals Australa in the 10th match of the five over competition.
It didn't took long for the first wicket to fall with the speed of Shaun Tait, making Matt Prior missing the ball and smashing into the stumps to get early trouble for England. Andrew Flintoff and Darren Maddy then started to put the game into England hands when they started to go on the board.
Cameron White and Adam Voges did attempt to try and slow the run rate but England keep going on their place at 13 an over in the three over that they played. Then, Dan Cullen got rid of
Darren Maddy with a slower ball in which he couldn't pick the ball.
The two then went on the attack in the final over with the help of Luke Wright to put England target onto 75 runs needed from the 5 overs. The target looking like it would be gettable even if they had to go at 15 an over.
Australia chase couldn't get off to a more worst start when Chris Tremlett got rid of Adam Voges for a duck with Prior showing a brilliant catch, to put England ahead in the match. Then Dimitri Mascarenhas got rid of Cameron White for 8 to put Australia in all sorts of trouble at 2-14.
Luke Wright and Andrew Flintoff then finish the match for the English with both of them taking home the last 3 wickets with Flintoff taking 2 in four balls and Wright being the other wicket taker. This was a brilliant victory for England, as they would wait for who they will be taking on in the cup semi finals.
