I had exactly same problems two years back when I had Nvidia 9400 GT
I installed a October 2011 version of McAfee in my computer (not Dell) that came free with my Dell Laptop. Now the problem is that after installing the antivirus, it shows me expired but IIRC, it should work for a year. Contacting customer care did not help. Is it a way to reactivate it?
Does the tray (empty or with the cd loaded) eject or when you put in a cd, the cd keeps ejecting instead of reading?
Could be an issue with some script trying to access the CDROM, and finding it empty, it ejects. Check your startup items and running scripts if there is something which even slightly concerns CDs.
I have just installed windows 7 over my win XP. After this my computer suddenly turn off(freezes and and CPU offs). After some suggestions I installed a optimizer named Advanced System Optimizer. It solved that problem. But, I want to know whether the optimizer was safe and good to use??
