Solve your computer problem with the help of experts!

Same here, my lappy turns off automatically. I thought it could be due to placing it in a soft place or overcharging it. I stopped doing them both and the result is the same :noway

My PC was infected by a virus.
If you remember I asked you how to get back the search and it works Thanks.
But
there is another problem
"When I search the ".ini" files they does not show up even if the advance search option is 'on'
And When I toggle the hidden files option they does not show up as well.

I have programs installed on my PC but I can't uninstall them, for one there is no uninstall link and the other it says install.log not found, can someone help me!.

Download Crap cleaner and remove the componants using that.

Why is it that I fail to trust a product named Crap Cleaner do you think :p

From the name itself :p either its a crap :laugh or it remove crap stuff from PC. Crap cleaners ahs removed Kieron's game from his PC, that means this cleaner will hold our valuable application as crap too :p too much risk to use this :D

One good tool is "Ccleaner". It delete every waste files and registries from the PC with one click.

You can download it from here.

I'd be careful with these reg tools. Not that I have used them myself but they often end up removing an installed program entries and then later on you discover that the program cannot be uninstalled.
I follow a simple rule, backup your profile and rebuild after every 1.5 years :p

Something suspicious going on here...

Hello folks. Need some help to track down something suspicious.

Take a look at this image here : Untitled-1.png

For the last two-three days, I've been getting those messages around thrice a day. Usually the internet is on 24x7 here. Presently, apart from surfing the net, I'm also running some torrents. I'm running Eset Smart Security with latest updates. The Eset logs reveal the connection was accessed by rundll32.exe. The message by the way, doesn't pop up necessarily when I'm surfing the web or downloading something, but as I said the net is on 24x7 here. Also, when I go to that address in Firefox, it takes me to a page that is probably hosted on Yahoo. I'm running Yahoo Messenger 8. I did download the other day a bat file to remove the ads in Yahoo Messenger, but when I checked the bat file, both with Eset as well as in Notepad, there was nothing suspicious. Here's the bat file anyway: View attachment noYMads2.zip

Really dunno what's up. There's nothing else amiss! Any idea what this is all about?! Any help will be much appreciated.
