South Africa in England July-Sept 2012

What an absolutely fantastic test. Five days of thrilling test cricket.

Ha ha.... What did I tell you? But watch out, South Africa to sneak it off in the end

Right as I send that in, Swanny's gone!

Oh my holy! Is that right? My predictions are clicking like mad today....:lol:D

What an absolutely fantastic test. Five days of thrilling test cricket.

Give that to England! They keep test cricket alive and kicking with such thrilling games (and that too in their own shores).

Bowling leggies around the wicket like that is pretty filthy and as soon as Prior busts out the reverse sweep, you see why. In addition to taking lbw out of the game, Tahir's chief asset is his wrong'un and it's not going to do much if he's only going to pitch it behind the batsman and turn it further down leg. If the batsman can either play the ball inside-out or reverse/switch hit it, a lot of the danger is illusory compared to the potential to score runs.

Only England could manage two run-outs in a run chase :rolleyes

Despite South Africa deserving to go to Number 1 and win this series, it's fair to say England have failed at the most basic levels of catching and running.

To add to the whole basics point. How often have England lost wickets just before a new ball is taken or straight after an interval? With the dropped catches and run-outs they've been their own worst enemy.

Great fight back by England.:thumbs

And gone .Prior out .
