That was the joke . A guy constantly said him go and talk to Amla or lie flat on the grou d like a child till he gives you the bowl.
We he came after tea and he again said " did you talk to Amla ? " Man he was there for at least 40 overs. Such fun.

Tahir bhai was the topic today.

Lastly, I urge everyone to follow the commentary of the two sixes Rahane hit and understand the plight of us Indian fans. Sunil Gavaskar praising Rahane on the first six for hitting across the line and criticizing Rohit for hitting straight and then when Rahane hit the second one straight he was hailing the fact that he didn't try to hit across the line. Seriously? Are we cricket fans meant to be an insult? Do we have no right to a better broadcast?

@PokerAce - Your logic of Dhawan in the middle order baffles me. By that theory, Rohit Sharma should be promoted to open. It did open him up as a ODI batsman. The fact is that both need to be dropped. There is a LOT of batting talent on the sidelines in India.

Finally. Tahir gets Rahane. When will Amla learn? He held back Tahir in last match and when he came back, he picked up wickets. Even this match, Tahir didn't get a chance and now when he is back, he gets a wicket.

Great knock by Rahane. India's scores was greatly helped by ahswin not being given out when he was on 2, clear glove to the short leg. Didn't help ourselves with dropped rahane and ashwin as well later on.

Great performance by Abbot.

Thought it was poor captaincy in the first session, got the tactics wrong.

While I feel Amla's captaincy has been outright pathetic, he was right to not bowl Tahir much yesterday. Every time he came on, the pressure was released and at 130-6, SA were right in trying to nail the game then and there. There's some truth to what you say, but Tahir has been poor.
