Cook and, more so, Trott are very boring to watch. Not sure how you could say otherwise. Brilliant, from these pair although the Sri Lankan attack does look rather pedestrian at times.

England are probably the only team who can win it from here unless we collapse horribly tomorrow but I think its pretty certain to be a draw now especially as Andersons injured. Hoping to catch the last couple hours of the day tomorrow when I get back in from work. Hopefully we'll be bowling by then.

The day belonged to England but they should have batted quickly. Although they batted at 5.6 runs per over in last 10 overs but they should have done that frombefore

"Boring"? The reason they are "boring" is because they are playing on pitches which are a genuine challenge to bat on; unlike any pitch in the sub-continent.

They have played fantastically in this innings and have exemplified why they are two of the top batsmen in world cricket.
