great effort: I love the way he kind of says: yeah 400 balls, what the f you going to do about it!

Well, as I uninstall Cricket 19, I figured I'd upload my career stats in career mode. I thought it might be interesting to see how others have fared in their careers as well given we're well in this game's third act before the next eventual cricket game comes out.

I've recently re-started playing the limited-overs game after completing 24-25 tests. Last night, I witnessed this cracker in legend AI, custom batting between hard and hardest, and bowl quality at 90. This probably is my best innings in an ODI not only because Saifuddin won the match from 49/5 on a bouncy Aussie pitch (loved seeing regular length deliveries to Mushy flying past his chin), but because he scored more runs on the off-side, something which I had never done before. England 426 all out, leaving Pakistan needing 264 to win the 1st Test. Enough runs on the board on a turning pitch, or will 5 sessions be enough for Pakistan to get home.......8DB2D185-6893-445B-A1D4-6DD07F575013.jpegDE004F7E-73CA-4DBA-8EA4-AC2A8C320AD6.jpeg

The start of day 5 and it seems like there will be a winner either way here. Pakistan require just 119 and England need 6 wickets. The ball is just starting to reverse so can England make the most of it and pick up some much needed early wickets.......E63F0547-DF81-4D73-B034-CD2BA40DCCD1.jpeg5A4F9C3D-032F-4A58-8460-7997B9CBDA95.jpeg

It took the best part of 2 sessions, but Pakistan managed to get the remaining 119 runs and go 1 up in the 3 match series. England picked up 3 of the 6 wickets required, but a stubborn innings from Naved-ul-Hasan dented any England hopes as he made his maiden test 50 and helped see his side home....

Reports on the 2nd Test to follow....

2nd Test, Pakistan v England

Marcus Trescothick won the toss and chose to bat, hoping for a better 1st innings this time around (103 all out in the 1st Test). Things started well, but 56 for 1 turned into 160 all out, all 10 wickets falling to spin, 8 for Kaneria and 2 for Afridi, another up hill battle for England....

Bring on the battle though, Flintoff got off to a great start keeping things tight and picking up a wicket followed by Plunkett, who was in for Hoggard, picking up 2 more, as well as bowling the CLOSEST ball to the stumps without hitting them I have seen in my whole time playing the game!

The fight back is on......

2nd Test, Pakistan v England

End of day 2 and England are back in the contest.

Kamran Akmal frustrated the tourists and made 50, as did Shoaib Akhtar who was in the runs again, but England eventually took the final 4 wickets and Pakistan were all out for 262, a first innings lead of 102.

Liam Plunkett picking up 5 for 77 on a pitch which isn’t too kind to the seamers was a great effort.

In reply, a good solid opening partnership of 83 was brought to an end when Shahid Afridi got rid of Trescothick, but Andrew Strauss was in the runs again after his 100 in the 1st Test and finished the day unbeaten on 85. His partner at the other end is Ian Bell who is 26 from 66 and the pair will be looking to extend their lead on day 3........03C31BA9-FA3E-4386-8D8D-8E1D58F8484C.jpeg0A41E37F-C2C5-48FA-99BC-A11D3EF62E03.jpeg

2nd Test, Pakistan v England

End of day 3 and never mind back in the contest, England are out in front!

Ian Bell failed to press on as he would have hoped, but Strauss was joined at the crease by Kevin Pietersen, who after 2 ducks in his last 3 innings, had the bit between his teeth.

The pair batted up until tea, meaning just 1 wicket in 2 sessions for Pakistan, completely changing the tide of the match.

The 188 partnership finally came to an end when Pietersen was stumped down the leg side, falling 15 short of his ton.

Strauss was next to go, 17 shy of his double hundred, making it a good start to the final session for Pakistan.

Paul Collingwood remained defiant though and with a few others chipping in England have taken their lead to 323 going into day 4.....

End of day 4 and it is finely balanced.

England only managed to add 34 to their overnight score setting the hosts 358 to win. Pakistan got off to a good start with 41 on the board before the first wicket fell. It was two in two for Flintoff though as Pakistan went in at lunch 41 for 2.

The afternoon session belonged to the spinners as Shaun Udal and Ashley Giles both registered in the wickets column, leaving Pakistan 5 down for just 112, including a collapse of 4 for 3.

Shahid Afridi and wicket keeper Kamran Akmal began to rebuild before Akmal fell 2 shy of his half century.

Afridi pushed on and finished the day unbeaten on 60, his partner Naved-ul-Hasan, who scored a match winning 50 in the 1st Test, currently on 12.

England need just more 4 wickets, but Pakistan require only 124 runs, it’s going to be a close one.....
