Although it is a minor suggestion, I have noticed that reverse swing has two features:
a) It goes in the opposite direction than it should. In other words, it swings toward the shiny side. This translates to the direction opposite to the natural swing of the bowler which tends to be in to the right hander, from a right arm bowler.
b) The ball deviates late from a unusually straight path.

Will the batsmen make noise???

Like if Rick ponting hits the ball Symonds would call out 'wait there ricky' etc etc.
'Wait on pup'
'two maybe maybe'

'Wait on pup'
'two maybe maybe'

that would be cool.. but it will probably be limited to things like:

"Waiting.. Waiting.."
"Yes yes yes yes.."
"RUN"
"No!!"

i forgot something. u no for a fast bowler, can u make the ball really quick so u dont have too much tim to react. itll make the game much more challenging. in cricket 07 and 2005 the ball is going 90 miles per hour and it seems like u have all the time in the world to play the shot!!

There is a limit to realism.

yeah well i just thought it wud be a good idea. doesnt mean just because i say that this will be implemented in the game. just an idea.

I sort of agree

For me to the two most challenging type of bowling should be leg spin and fast bowling

I agree it cannot be realistic and you have about 0.4(?) of second to decide what shot to play when playing fast bowling, but fast bowers should give you the feeling of actually facing a fast bowler and it should be more difficult than it has been up to now in cricket games

After the original release, would there a possibility that we could add a mod that has indoor cricket on it? I think it would be great fun to play.

This is a major problem I have with Cricket 07 and I hope you fix it in TAOC.

A ball should only be able to swing in certain directions depending on where he pitches it. For example, I should not be able to bowl a batsman with a fast bowler by pitching it on leg stump and uprooting his off stump; it just never happens.

I don't really no how to put it into words properly as I'm no cricketing expert but maybe you understand what I'm trying to say. If not, I suppose Mannee could always do the honours.

You're right in that not often does a ball pitch on leg and hit off (assuming right arm over to right-handed bat) but the ball will often begin on a path which would pitch on leg stump but for the swing, though the ball may well pitch on about middle, or middle-and-off.

What am I supposed to be doing?:p

Explaining what I'm trying to say ;).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, I think the ball will tend to swing more often when it is pitched in line with the arm you are bowling with at the point of release.

sorry if someone has already suggested

If there can be direct hits or a option in manual fielding that can be used to aim the stumps (with the mouse)

just a couple of things.

You lot were saying about how you would like less time to react for fast bowlers, i think that brian lara 05 do that very well on test level. When using akhtar or lee you have a very small amount of time to react and when you hit them in my opinion it feels so rewarding lol, however the downside is that it is really easy to bowl people out witht he slower ball as they more or less have to anticipate the speed.

And LM cna you make a view fromt he batsmans helmet that would be so cool. then if possible you could change the arrow directions of that makes sense so you press up to hit down the ground
