Here are some of my ideas for a new game

1. Averages for the players and the computer
2. Harder Conditons
3. More Spin from the spinners
4. Generating innings
5. Franchise ..including training
6. Make the players look like who they are eg Ricky Pointing and Justin Langer look nothing alike when they play
7. Make the training so if you train hard the player will move his foot more to the ball
8. Leg - cutters/ off- cutters so it is obvious to see and more cut with the new ball and in the mornings
9.Bowling Actions . make it like the players eg. McGrath and Lee dont look anything alike when they bowl
10. Head to Head Statitics
11. Yearly Statitics
12. Game Career Statitics
13. Normal Career Statitics
14. Domestic Competetions
15. Alot Better create-a-player

Plus alot more would be great in a new cricket game

1. Players that are suited to different conditions perform better in the conditions the prefer

2. Different Batting Techniques

3. Sponsorships

4. Really Good Graphics

5. Squad based on form and personal choice for tours

6. Tight Bowling for like Glenn McGrath- not so tight for Fidel Edwards

7. Better pitch graphics- cracks/wetspots/ batting harder on final days

8. Good Crowd Graphics

9. Bowling- Aggression/Control/Annoyance- if a batter is getting on top of him he will give some loose deliveries

10. Batting- Confidence/Courage/ Form/Conditions/Fatigue/Foot Movement are all aspects of batting
Most of these are repeated, please read the previous posts and avoid repetition. Please click here-->>http://www.thecricketproject.com/ and go through each & every feature thoroughly. :upray

Wish list

Good work on the commentary guys. Certainly "Sidhuism" should be included.

Wish list :

1. Person from the crowd running on the field to acknowldege his cricketer's feat, like a century.

2. Realistic swing bowling with accurate pace.

3. How about some birds sitting on the outfield of MCG?

4. First person perspective (Better than cric 2004. Sadly it was not in cric 2005.)

5. Commentary from various people as in BLIC. But Commentary should match on with what is happening on the field.

6. No Monotonous commentary as in EA s Cricket titles.

7. Inclusion of Chennai Chepauk cricket ground (Please).

8. Two player as in BLC 99.

9. Range of shots more than that in Cricket 2005.

10.A wide screen in the ground to display any wickets or shots.(But that ofcourse will hog a lot of memory).

Not every six is High as a skyscraper L.M. so please add this feature where bastman would able to hit flat sixes such as gilchrist and yuvraj singh.

cheer L.M.

@srk121 - this is already implemented - the height/trajectory of the six varies depending on power and timing and chaos. You can have really high sixes and really flat sixes also some that just cross the rope or hit the rope and others that go a fair way into the crowd.

LM

i guess this is not possible so this would be part of a wishlist- differnet bowling stanzas, and a variety of more realistic shhots like in the BLC demo

Maybe you should do like you know how Andrew Symonds he can bowl either Off Spin or Medium well you should have an option whether you can choose what type of bowling he can use

..... for Sachin Tendulkar as well.

Yup, I just put the confirmed feature list on the site. Your ideas will be looked at and implemented either for the final release or in a patch!

thanks skateboarder!!!

Is the padded sweep and bat-pad catches on the list of the final game???

This is just following on from what Paul has said in the Discussion thread about edges. I would like to see the umpires make bad decisions with edges. There could be pad then bat, and the umpire gives it out. Just a thought.

Mybe seperate buttons for a lofted shot over the infield and a six hit? The former being the easier of the two?

Yeah that would be quite realistic........ But not all umpires do that... May be if legend is using the icc panel of umpires, he might well give this attribute to some one whos quite weak in umpiring and not to one like David Sheperd...

Also are there any chances of seeing some of the greatest umpires like Dickie Bird?????
