That's wicked. It will be so cool!
I can have Sean the leg spinner playing for Australia.

Also, I think we should have career mode. Because playing with the same players all the time will get annoying. And if you play in career mode, you won't know what the bowlers or batsmen are like, you'll probably play them differently.

It would also be quite good for those doing stories aswell. :)

Adding a career mode would be too time consuming for the initial release, so it isn't included. It could be added later on though as a patch.

shame that... i hope it does eventually get implented, a career mode is where id spend 90% of my time playing

I apologies if this has already been said, but can you boys not do something which makes the Aussie grounds such as the WACA and MCG feel bigger than Lords or Old Trafford, meaning how easy it is to clear the boundy? All you'd need to do is mess around with shot power surely?

The double negative threw me off a bit ;) but i think i get you. There will be different sized stadiums, so for example the MCG will be bigger hence harder to clear the boundary

The only difference is the answer to that question to confirm that the stadiums will be different sizes is 'No' as opposed to 'Yes' (as in 'Yes, it cannot be done'). Also Paul is saying that the stadiums are physically different sizes as opposed to doing edits to shot power (which is an ugly hack imo), which is even better.

Well who am i to know how to make stadiums bigger :p But im glad to hear its going to be so, as in C07 they all feel the same, which is quite annoying!

Keep up the cracking work :) Keen admirer i must say.

Having different sized grounds would be awesome. Like you said the MCG would be bigger than let's say Barbados.

Also, with crowd sounds would it be possible if let's say if Pakistan are touring Australia maybe not to the same extent but still have some Pakistan chants or whistles (like Cricket 2004)

Erm...I know this is not related to this thread, but where do you find the dimensions of a particular stadium??

Hey LM can you add DNA or FINGER PRINTS feature in the game which basically track your style of play eg. if you bowl too many inswing the DNA tracks that and if you prefer legside more often then offside than DNA tracks that too ,at how much required runrate that you started to go after bowling? ,Did you preserve wickets at the start or you start the game with the bash? who plays a key roll in your team(player) etc.
This could be great for sharing your DNA to other people in the net so that if you wanna practice with guy who is not online you can do by playing with his DNA.
The DNA system can be setup for individual player on the team so for eg some user DNA of Ricky ponting might be aggresive or some DNA might be Defensive.
How do you reckon of this idea ,well its not that hard to implement as well.
Pls Reply me.

This DNA system can help in building strong/weak and different AI for each team.

Not sure if this has been suggested but maybe an option to choose the guard and a little cut scene showing the guard being taken. The computer would also choose a guard and change depending on who and how u bowl and different players would have different default guards. I know theres an option to move the batsman but it would annoying to do this every ball

 That would be the height of creativity:D. Amazing suggestions man, any suggestions how to implement it?:p

@Handsome
It is easy to implement ,I can post step by step details to implement this feature in to the game but first I need confirmation that did LM actually like this or not and then I will post step by step how to implement this feature.

I think the AI would automatically spot the patterns in your gameplay style., and don't really think DNA/ fingerprint would be required for that. I believe that lazy_chestnut showed us an example of a situation like that in BLIC 2007.
And by the way, what would be some good sources of finding exact dimensions of a specific stadium?
