It'll be hard getting them to move out of Canberra. Maybe the odd game in Melbourne but definitely not all their games there. Of course this all depends on what the ARU does with 3rd party payments.

If they do end up relocating, which is pretty unlikely, I'm sure it will be a definitive shift in base, not just the odd game in Melbourne or the CC. That sort of decision has to be contemplated, fought against and the process has to be undertaken, so it'll be tough getting them out of Canberra anyway.
By the way, is there a reason why you support a Canberra-based team in Union and League? Just curious :p

No Mitchell has signed with the Force it is official....they just havent said what the deal is worth...an awful lot i suspect because Mitchell is a very sought after talent.
Not sure where that leaves Cameron Shepherd...relegated to the bench i suspect :p

It just ended up like that :) I supported the Raiders way back, as I loved green :D From then on I've been a Raiders fan. I actually use to like all the Aussie Super teams but lately I've been going for the Brumbies. Maybe it's to do with their success. But I still cheer on the Tahs and Reds.

Aww...the Force are wasting young talent!
Shepperd's quality, he's got speed and is a real object for development in the backlines, he would've been better off in his home state :p

Not much to cheer for in that department- this season anyway :p

Oh and of course the Force :) Those no good stealing **** :mad

They better develop our talent well and not waste them like they have with other young talent over there.

Actually Shepherd can move to the wing....he's powerful and quick...ideal position for him.

Still doesn't help all the other inside backs the Force have. And it looks like they are going after Willie Tonga too! Geez the Reds are gonna be pissed if they do. Force are also after Cross. I'm sure some inside centers will be moving. Hopefully Daurada wants to move the the brillant Brumbies.

Speaking of the Brumbies seems like Huxley will be coming back to the Brumbies.

hmm interesting point u make sly...

our backline next yr ...

Matt Henjak (scrum half)
Lachlan MacKay (First Five)
Matt Giteau (Inside Centre)
Junior Pelesasa (Outside Centre)
Digby Ioane (Wing)
Drew Mitchell (Full Back)
Cameron Shepherd (Wing)

damn thats powerful.....but yeh it leaves the likes of Staniforth, Hilgendorf, Dauruda out in the cold...and im sure ive forgotten a few.

but injuries do happen.

Staniforth should be the Outside Centre after his form this year although Ryan Cross may get the gig. Hilgendorf is alright I guess, he could be alright to buy. Good 5/8 and handy fullback would make a welcome addition to the Brumbies.

Yeh but no one wants to move to Canberra...it has nothing on the lifestyle players can have in Perth.

I dont see many of the Force guys wanting to move but no doubt some will, that is inevitable.
I didnt know the Force were also poaching NRL players.....ive heard good things about Willie Tonga, Ryan Cross is the Roosters centre isnt he?

we should be going after Sonny Bill Williams haha

Well, I hope you's do! I know you were joking, but it'd serve the Force right after poaching so much talent (SBW is injured every half second, by the way)- and guess what, hyopothetically if Williams was part of the WA squad, you'd need to scout some physios, too....:p
Anyway, I agree with the fact that the Force backline is looking very formidable, but it'll be interesting to see how they all work in sync. There's alot of pace, strength and versatility there, so they should pose a threat next year seeing as the new players aren't too burdened with the traditional WA losing culture :D

Well Henjak hasn't been all that flash this year, so they probably need to buy another halfback. MacKay is solid at 5/8 but nothing special so if there is a weakness there it is.

I was solely referring to their recent Super 14 culture of losing; there were no personal/regional attacks attached :p
Aww, Gilchrist was from Lismore, that's barely NSW ;)
On the topic, did Rove McManus reject the beatiful state of WA to work in Melbourne? Surely he could've shown some patriotism :D

im sure if Rove had it his way he'd be doing the show from Perth....but u cant afford to disagree with your employers (Network Ten) in the cut-throat industry that TV entertainment is

Back on Topic: That losing culture will be turned around soon enough...dont u worry about that ;)
