I'm just taking what I heard off Sports tonight. :D

I don't really care, just as long as the Tahs play :p

I think there is gonna be some close games this weekend. Do you guys think the Force will get their first win?

It's hard to say. If the Force were playing at home no question they would win. But going down to SA is always tricky. This will be the Force first ever time in SA so who knows what might happen. If the Force play to their potential they will beat the Cats, if not we are in for one boring match.

It would be at rugby.com.au

Good win by the Tahs, played perfect wet weather rugby. Didn't look good early on as the Highlanders were making line breaks all over the place but they just couldn't cross the try line. Tahs got 2 easy tries before and after halftime and that was the ball game.

lol i knew the force wouldnt win.

as i explained to someone the other day (who was convinced they would win)...they dont know how to win for starters, and that is a big deal because a winning culture is vital. And i'll bet they wouldve fallen into the trap of thinking that just because they drew with the mighty crusaders and were stiff not to have pipped them, that they were just going to walk all over the hapless cats. wrong. and once again they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory...remind me of the Windies cricket team.

Lol the Force thinking they could steam roll the Cats. They would be crazy to think that given the Cats are ahead of the Force on the table plus the fact the Cats were at home.

Oh well a first up wooden spoon is on the way to the Force. But I suspect like the Crusaders their 2nd year might be a lot better.

yeh next year is looking good for sure...hopefully less injuries and add Matt Giteau to the team and we will have a genuine match-winner :)

Lachlan McKay and Junior Pelesasa will also be back from injury :D

Pelesasa rocks!

Pelesasa has no hope of getting a spot lol. He may as well go somewhere else. The Force are also after Cross. Scott Staniforth has been going great guns at 13 so the Force are going to have a heap of backs with no where to put some of them. I suspect a few backs will move.

Brumbies killed the Reds, they had nothing on the Brumbies this match. Mortlock was brillant as always, Giteau stepped up well and Fairbanks showed his running game.

This has made my day, the Stormers beat the Crusaders! The Tahs are top of the table and the Brumbies are now in striking range to finish in the top 2.

Also what a ripper final round we have. The Canes take on the Tahs for the right to host a semi final (most likely) and also the Brumbies could be playing the Crusaders for the right to host a semi assuming the Crusaders lose to the Bulls.

The Force have to overcome a massive mental barrier to enjoy relative success next season, as they've shown some pretty good signs of developing aggressive and fluent rugby on the field, but as always, fall apart in the latter stages. Perhaps it's even a part fitness-related problem, where they need that extra burst of strength towards the end to maintain composure.
Tahs on Top! (Has a nice ring to it, eh? :p)
Great to see the Crusaders losing, maybe they're becoming slightly fatigued or mentally drawn out towards the close of the season (that, or bored of winning ;)), and even though I'm getting to far ahead of myself, hopefully the Tahs will take the first ever Super 14 title...:)

As long as an Aussie team takes out the title I'll be happy. Brumbies obviously would be awesome but I wouldn't mind the Tahs taking it out.
Heres hoping the Tahs and Brumbies finish 1 and 2 thus they have a chance to met in the final.

The top two aussie teams are looking pretty good. I think the Waratahs are probably the best team in the comp, although if I was a fan of theirs I would be very nervous if they met the Crusaders in the playoffs. Crusaders know how to win the big games and have a great record of doing so. But I thought the Waratahs should have beaten them earlier in the year and for most of the game looked the better side.
I think the Canes and Brumbies will be fighting it out for third and fourth, but neither should beat either the Crusaders or Waratahs in the semis. Although I'm a Hurricanes supporter I just don't think they're good enough. Good defenses shut them down pretty easily and they aren't patient enough.
Still, be great to see them take on the Crusaders in the final. That way NZ would be guaranteed another Super title.

We shall see how good the Brumbies are when they face the Crusaders in the last round of the Super 14. I wouldn't read much into the round robin loss the Brumbies had to the Tahs as Larkham went of injuried 10 minutes in and Fairbanks never thought he would be on at 5/8. Just like the Crusaders beat a Rogerless Waratah side, you can't read much into those games. Although that day the Crusaders deserved the win as they were clearly the better side.
