Don't know if there is any basis to it but once I started squatting more often I would find that my other excercises would go up along with it.
Word of advice...never work your adductors and abductors the day before you plan to meet your girlfriend

It was a bit too heavy for me according to my trainer, which is why I went back to the drawing board and down to 360 lbs to work on it last month. He says I've improved on it a great deal since then and can even do it with 5 plates (450 lbs) correctly now. Will hopefully do a video this week to compare my progress.
