How much time does it take for you to do the stats of one round of say, LAB?

If it's in the Test format, say on average 20 minutes per team. ODIs take half as long because you only have to take one innings per match into consideration. It'd take me a bit longer to do both in the past, but after all these years I sometimes don't even need to use a calculator to calculate some of these stats.

One thing you desperately(or constantly) fail at but always wanted to be perfect at?

That goddamn remote control airplane mission from GTA Vice City comes to mind. And pretty much all the flying missions in GTA San Andreas. Apart from those two, I think I can ace pretty much everything I put my mind to in life.

A specific part of league managing that bores you? (e.g. I'm bored when I'm altering points table after a round completes)

The actual simulation part. It can get pretty tedious for someone like me on a regular basis given how I alter ratings for pretty much every match to get realistic scores, keeping the stats in check etc.

A specific part you like most?

The part where I actually finish the damn thing with a huge stats bundle and have people appreciate my efforts. Priceless.

Do you believe Narendra Modi alone can transform our country (especially when we're 1.3 billion people)? Don't say our country doesn't need a change else I'll consider you not an Indian.

I don't believe any one person can transform a country all by himself. It has to be a collective effort. Given what I've seen so far, I'm not really impressed.

If you could be a professional sportsman, which sport would you have chose? And again, obviously, why?

Cricket obviously. The only sport I enjoy watching really.

That's no proper way to live, even for an introvert.

Quite 'normal' and not to mention incredibly boring. For one thing, I'd never be confident or inspired enough to do some of the things I do in life today if it wasn't for some of the things I've done here over the years.

Now this one totally defines silliness but I couldn't have come up with anything better - do you believe many people mistake love for attraction.

Your leagues are top-class, mate. I've never seen anybody present matches or keep the league index as neat as you do during my time.

If you were to open a youtube channel, what theme would it be based on? Many of my questions can be well merged with a "why". So, why that theme?

Well, I've already got a channel of my own where I've uploaded a massive playlist and a couple of workout videos of myself so I could see which areas I could improve on while doing a particular exercise.

Quite similar to how I usually present matches for my LAB finals. I'd say it's far more effort than a league like the PCPL is worth tbh.

Given the condition that you are the ICC Chairman , what changes would you bring ?

I don't have a great knowledge on the financial side of things, but these are some of the things I would be interested in doing if that were the case:

• Actually put the 'World' in the Cup by including a minimum of 24 teams for both the ODI & T20 World Cups.
• Have continental qualifying tournaments rather than single World Cup qualifiers for the ODI & T20 World Cups. Gives everyone a fair shot that way.
• Have four 6-team tiers for Test cricket with promotion & relegation based on performance.
• Perhaps break apart the West Indies and let the Caribbean nations field their own national teams like they do in every other sport of note. Would definitely increase the level of competition between the teams in the 2nd & 3rd tiers as suggested above.
• Introduce a World Test Championship featuring nations from the top two tiers of Test cricket. It can be spread across a 3-4 year cycle or however long need be.
• Make cricket an Olympic sport once again. It's been 117 years ffs!
• Ensure its return to the Commonwealth Games as well, and also ensure it's participation in every other international sporting event of note such as the Asian Games, African Games, European Games etc. What better way to improve the profile of a sport?
• Relax eligibility rules a bit so we can see the likes of Ollie Rayner turn out for Germany, Cameron Steel for the USA, Tanvir Ahmed for Kuwait etc.

I've had quite a few so far. Having a few beers with my late father three years on Christmas Eve whilst listening to his many wise recollections would count as one. I would go on to lose him less than a month after that, so it was perhaps one of the last memorable evenings spent in his company.

Embarrassing moment in your life till date ?

Dropping a huge bucket of popcorn whilst on a date as I was rushing to get into the movie hall. Most of the people around gave her that "Oh, you could have done so much better" sort of look (effing vultures). And locking myself out of my own house accidently without carrying so much as a phone or any money whatsoever. I had to basically go from door to door to find someone who'd let me call a locksmith, and he sure took his sweet time to show up as I lay waiting helplessly outside my own door.
