By the way, who was it that offered to do the stats and had an example spreadsheet of their tracking during the IPL ? Don't quite want to go through every page to check.

Will knock out stages be played at a neutral venue (if it's possible to select pitch conditions as the home side)? Perhaps only the Eliminator and final?

When we say neutral do we mean randomly select which ground it is and if on the off chance the team that plays there gets to that stage they select pitch conditions like in real life (again, if that's possible in the game)?

Haha, think we may get some problems with grudges then . Neutral venues for semis as well or the highest placed teams home ground (so 1st and 3rd's)?

Sure thing, I've updated the original post with the in game grounds I've selected for each team. I've tried to pick the grounds that looks closest to those that they are in real life but obviously with a few it is a bit difficult.

Just thought, you've gotta select a home ground for a team so I wonder if the game will only let you play at one of the playing teams home grounds.

The semis seem a bit odd, usually the top 2 teams in the group stages do not go head to head in the semis. Rather it is something like this:

1st vs 4th
2nd vs 3rd

Or at worst

1st vs 3rd
2nd vs 4th

This makes it a greater incentive for coming 1st.

Otherwise coming 4th would have greater benefit than coming 1st because you face the 3rd best team of the group stages.

So there is a greater advantage coming first or second
