Tamil Music/Movie Thread

Yeah there are huge expectations for the movie. But I fear it wont do that good with the C and D sections of the audience here. But I'm already blown off by the music and the trailers released till now.

Yeah, me guessing the same too. It will break records in the A and B sections ('A' means the city and multiplex audience, and B means the upper end single screen theatres and the upper end cities, C means rural stations) but will do only decently in the C sections. It has potential of being a huge hit overseas (USA, UK, Japan, Malaysia, etc) which will bring lot of revenue. Hope the Hindi version does well. If it does, then the revenue should be easily recovered and profits made. Having a simultaneous release is going to help.

I flew 2 flights with actress Tamanna few days ago. She's really nice!

She's way pretty. Really nice, we (my family and her+her Chithi) talked for like an hour. She went all the way from Chennai-Bangalore-A small city called Hubli in Karnataka all the way with us!

I also bumped into Surya at Mumbai airport few days back. He's also very, very nice guy.

Chithi? You Bumped Into Surya? Give Me The Details.

Man endhiran's music rocks, truly fantastic, I owe you Rahman.

Though I am not much impressed by trailers but Aishwarya is looking fantastic and stunning.

And how on earth Rajnikanth can look so young in film, in real life he looks like he is a patient of tumour.:p

I know he's 60 and how can he look that young on screen. He really looks too old man actually.

Well, If Endhiran would be out in hindi, I'd surely watch it.:D

Yes, its releasing as "Robot" in Hindi on the same day as all the other versions (most likely Sep 17th or 24th). The songs of the Hindi version too have come out (though the lyrics sound quite literally translated, and if you have heard Tamil first, stick to it).

The tumor thing can be avoided. He is a very simple man in real life. He doesnt put make up and come to public events. He is a very spiritual person, and believes in simplicity in real life. I respect him a lot for that!

Bump. Can anyone tell me the name of the tamil Happy Days remake? I love the telegu songs and would like to hear the Tamil versions (not dubbed!)

The movie's name is "Inidhu Inidhu" produced by Prakashraj's Duet Productions. Heard that the Tamil version is no way as good as the original.

Yep, found it. Listening to the music as I type. It's good, same tunes as the original but the Telegu has a better flow - even if I don't understand what they are saying :p

Which is bad because my aunt and all is Telegu, my grandma grew up in Andhra.. I should learn some. Very similar to my mother's side language Kannada (which i'm fluent in)

Two super audio albums "Engeyum Kaadhal" (Harris Jayaraj) and "Aadukalam" (GV Prakash Kumar) has released in the last two days. 'Engeyum Kaadhal' has Jayam Ravi and is directed by Prabhudeva. Aadukalam has Dhanush and is directed by Vetrimaaran (the same guy who directed the super hit 'Pollathavan')

The "Yathe Yathe" song in Aadukalam is superb. The best probably of the year! Engeyum Kadhal is a breezy romantic album from Harris. As an album, Engeyum Kadhal is best, but as an individual song, Aadukalam's "Yathe Yathe" and "Ayyayo" will win hands down. GREAT WORK!

Waiting for Manmadhan Ambu which is scheduled to release on 17th or 25th,hope it becomes a block-buster.Kamal,Trisha,KS,Crazy Mohan are good,DSP is not bad,MADHAVAN IS THE GOD OF ACTING,THE KING OF ROMANCE....MADDY <3<3<3
