Singam - i was thoroughly entertained throughout the movie.
it was pacy, had good comedy and action, good punch dialogues etc etc.
timepass movie which can be watched anytime.

Vettaikaran - well, i loved the comedy and the first hour.
then it got really cliched and repetitive. but the villain Salim Ghouse gave
a really good performance and that got me attracted again.
oh and not to mention, i watched vettaikaran immediately after SURA. so now you know, why i rate it so highly.

btw, "naa adichcha taanga maate, naalu maason tunga maate, modhi paaru vidu poyi sera maate" is the best lyrics i've heard
in my life !

Ha ha... Well, you will definitely like Vettaikaran more if you watch it after Sura. Sura is the lowest that Vijay has fallen to. I hope from there, its only upwards for him. Salim Ghouse acted really well in Vettaikaran. He can still do good villian roles in Tamil.

You also feel that Varanam Aayiram and Vinnaithandi Varuvaya had too much of English dialogues?

Gore gore song from Moscowin Kaveri sounds great. It is the copy of telugu song from Kick, still Suchitra & Karthik have done well here in tamil.

Endhiran audio to release on July 31. Big day coming up for Rajnikanth, Shankar and AR Rahman fans. Possibly the biggest movie in Indian cinema (its made in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil). Rajni-Ash!

Just read about Velayudham film. By looking at it's pics here. Clearly it's copied from AC game. I haven't watched the film but want to know if anyone have watched it, is the story, action have any similarities to Assassin's Creed or this is completely different film?

The shooting of the film has just started (on July 15). The movie will release only next year. Yes, it seems heavily inspired. I am guessing the look has been ripped off, hope not the story. But I wont be surprised if that too is ripped off because the director hasnt done an original film in his career yet (all his 5-6 films so far are remakes from other languages where he does not even change the color of the set) and the hero has also made his fortune with remake films

Oh so the movie is yet to release. But I doubt this movie can reach anywhere near original game. It may receive some criticism for copying the looks and actions (and proabably story) from a game and I don't think they have license.

Just listened to the songs of Rajnikanth, Aishwarya Rai and Shankar's magnum opus "ENDHIRAN (ROBOT)". Truly blown off badly by the songs! AR Rahman once again proves what a spectacular magician he is. The songs are just so refreshing, wonderful and awesome to listen. Out of the 7 songs, I loved 5 songs on the first listen itself (long time since a Rahman album did that to me).

Its releasing in Hindi as "Robot", so all those Bollywood movie watching fans here can wait and should listen to the Hindi version. I am excited to know what you guys feel (we can discuss in the "Bollywood discussion" thread)

Reach? This movie wont have much reach beyond Tamil Nadu. The actor has his primary fan following among the rural areas of TN (he is like Mithun and Salman, who primarily satisfy the front benchers) and he doesnt like trying different things (all his movies have the same stereotyped roles of fighting for his community, for his nation, etc with the intention of getting into politics which he is trying to do), His movies are not even dubbed into the neighboring Telugu industry. So no one will know much about this film. He is supposed to act in Aamir's role in the 3 Idiots remake. Thats when he will get some recognition.

Yup 'Endhiran' songs are very good, but I wonder what happened to beautiful melody tracks of Rehman?. Not able to find a really nice one from his recent albums.

Two songs from 'Naan Mahan Allai' is very good too.I liked recent Yuvan's albums than ARR's.

Saw 'Thillalangadi' on last friday. Movie was just average,problem is Ravi as the lead and narration style.

Melody tracks of Rahman? Did you listen to VTV? It was almost a full on melody album. 'Hosanaa', 'Manippaya' were really good melodies.

Endiran is a full on sci-fi film. I am incredibly excited to see the film. The trailers have released and it helps in shooting the expectations levels to a great extent. Check these out!

Was just blown off by the songs and trailers.Puthiya Manitha,Irumbil and Chitti Dance Showcase are my favorites while I'm equally spell bound by the other tracks aswell.Cant wait for the the release.Rajini is looking phenemonal while Aishwarya is stunning as ever.

The fact that its a 'first of the kind' sci-fi film about a robot, it increases the excitement to incredible levels. The robot that was shown in the trailers look amazing. Hollywood guys have worked in this film, so the output will be outstanding.

Music is just a bonus. The main picture is yet to come.

Yeah there are huge expectations for the movie.But I fear it wont do that good with the C and D sections of the audience here.But I'm already blown off by the music and the trailers released till now.
