Ivlo theevira Siddarth fan ah?

I don't hate Siddarth, but I have been noticing him trying to overact a lot these days. In my opinion, he was just OK in this film and being the hero, felt someone else might have done the role better than him.

I love Madhavan,Suriya and Siddharth.Rest all are okay for me.But just crazy about these three heros.

I got it, you love the "chocolate boys". :rolleyes

Just watched "Theeya Vela Seiyanum Kumaru" starring chocolate boy 'Siddarth', kozhuk mozhuk Khusboo 'Hansika', comedy puyal 'Santhanam', mokka potte periya aal aana chichilikka 'RJ Balaji' (For the non-Tamil readers; please ignore the Tanglish words, they don't mean anything to you guys; they are for Tamil readers only).:D

I think this was during "Kanathil Muthamittal" shooting. Siddarth played a passing role in Kanathil Muthamittal where he is one of the passengers in the bus when Madhavan gets angry at a fellow passenger. I think Siddarth assisted Mani Ratnam during KM.

That guy on the right is Kannan, who was also Mani Ratnam's assistant before he became a director with films like Jayam Kondan, Vandhaan Vendran, etc.

Yup.I love the chocolate boys only.:thumbs

Chocolate boys don't have a very long shelf life in Tamil cinema. Refer to Suresh, Arvindsamy, Madhavan, Shaam, etc. Even Siddarth is struggling to gain a foothold in Tamil cinema. Madhavan is the biggest success as a chocolate boy. But that's also because he learnt to adapt to various different roles which involved being the rugged villian in Ayutha Ezhuthu, the angry young man in Thambi, etc. Chocolate boys are loved by girls and that's how they get their initial fame, but girls are very fickle and they move on pretty quickly to others.

I dont really buy that argument which says only girls love chocolate boys. Its upto an individual.I prefer them because their films are generally soft and romantic. In Thambi,i liked the scenes between Maddy and Pooja. In Aaayudha Ezuthu,i liked the scenes between Maddy and Meera and so on...I basically love only these love scenes, couples etc..I dont say Thambi or Aayudha Ezuthu was bad but i liked only these scenes.I feel so much relieved of all my stress and stuffs when i see these couple romancing stuffs. #RomanceFan

From Alaipayuthey i have never moved out of Maddy. He has been my most favourite hero right through.I look alien in front of my friends who fight for Vijay,Ajith,Danush etc..but still Maddy fan forever.

I agree that the trailer is not that great, but I am very strongly guessing that you will dislike most trailers/films which don't have enough romance in it.

Yes.You are absolutely correct Sai.But if the film stars Maddy,Suriya or Siddharth i will maybe like it even if there is not much romance. But otherwise 'Romance' is the only thing i will want to see in a film.I dont really mind a film with one scene like hero lying down on heroine's lap and there is a romantic BGM and love dialouges,i will still sit and see it for 3 hours.:thumbs

That's too narrow a thinking, Maddy. Films need to be of many genres.

Yes,when it comes to films i am like this.I show i am narrow minded in cricket too only in planetcricket because of certain personal reasons. In life i think very broad actually. And in films maybe after romance,i prefer horror.
