TBF, that first one (or whichever one keeps popping up in TV ads) is hardly amazing..

Are you guys serious? You guys like Singam 2 promos? Find it very annoying to see Surya shout so much from the bottom of his throat in those promos... Its a very typical Hari film which offers no hope for any different things. His films all look the same, and yet they do well at the BO.:noway:(

I am waiting for Surya's next "Dhruva Natchathiram" directed by Gautham Menon with ARR's music. That will be kickass stuff!

I am just excited because its Surya,i need to admit it frankly.Dhruva Natchathiram, yes indeed,my favourite director,my second favourite actor and ARR.Wow.Cant get any better.

Frankly, I am disappointed with Surya's recent films. For me also, he has been my favorite actor in recent times (especially after the decline of Vijay who had been my favorite for almost a decade from 1998-2007). But I have been noticing that Surya has been exaggerating his acting style quite a bit (a decent way to say "he has been overacting" in recent times). And his selection of films has been going down quite sharply. Too many masala scripts from him. The Surya of "Kaakha Kaakha, Ghajini, Varanam Aayiram" is badly missing.

Hope Dhruva Natchathiram brings us back to that old Surya. Right now, I love Dhanush only. Vijay has made a minor comeback with films like Nanban and Thuppakki. Lets see if he continues with such kinds of films.

Saw 3 trailers yesterday that I thought were really done well, so here they are:

Looks good I'd say, but it has the same problem that every other dubbed film has, and will always have, the dialogues. Or maybe the Hindi ones were poor too? :p

Very well done the trailer, if you can look past Nakul playing the lead then the trailer should damn well excite you.

The trailer I feel has everything going for it, the acting looks tremendous, especially that shot at 2:15 where Dhanush goes "dai thambi, enna ippovea kondru, illa, orunal romba varutha paduva." The camera works brilliant, the setting is spot on, and the music I feel compliments the trailer well, all in all, best of the lot!

If you understand Hindi, you should rather watch Raanjhanaa, and not its dubbed version 'Ambikapathy'. If you live in the US, you can watch Raanjhanaa with subtitles (these days, almost all Hindi films here release with subtitles).

Loved the trailer of Vallinam. Though it gives a very 'Ghilli' feel, it looks entertaining. Especially, the background score is excellent.

Maryan obviously is BRILLIANT! I am so so so eagerly awaiting that film. Its going to be a kickass film.

That's the thing, I don't understand Hindi and I hate watching films of another language with subtitles even, it's like I spend more time reading than actually enjoying the film. :rolleyes

Picked up on that as well, hopefully it'll be a bit different, wouldn't all that bad if it was the same either. :p

After that trailer, I'd only be surprised if you weren't excited.

Just watched "Theeya Vela Seiyanum Kumaru" starring chocolate boy 'Siddarth', kozhuk mozhuk Khusboo 'Hansika', comedy puyal 'Santhanam', mokka potte periya aal aana chichilikka 'RJ Balaji' (For the non-Tamil readers; please ignore the Tanglish words, they don't mean anything to you guys; they are for Tamil readers only).:D

Movie is superb! From beginning to end, great comedy. Especially RJ Balaji and his one liners are mostly rippers! Santhanam as "Mokia", the love guru is a riot! Siddarth is OK, Hansika is as usual eye candy. Director Sundar C is truly back to his best as a director. A great cool comedy movie for the hot summer. The songs was skip worthy, except for "Azhagerndral Aval Dhaana". Overall verdict: 4/5

Thillu Mullu is good too, Shiva did a good job in his one-liners. Prakash Raj suits the role really well.
Isha Talwar. :D :thumbs

I am not watching it. I am too big a fan of Thalaivar (Rajni)'s Thillu Mullu. I love the original 'Golmaal' by Amol Palekar too. And I can't watch Shiva in classic songs like "Raagangal Pathinaaru" and that famous interview scene.

Theeya Vela Seiyanum Kumaru seems to be a good movie considering the trailers that have been shown in Star Vijay..Cant watch it here in Delhi though..
